Great location, comfortable stay and very helpful staff!”

The property is actually divided into two entities. Lowe floors are maverick hostel and top floor is categorised as Giselle hotel. Giselle is newly renovated so rooms are comfortable, comes with all amenities and locations is a big plus. Dhanube river is just 5-10 mins walk and so is fashion street.

Exceptional”

Beautiful building in excellent location - within walking distance of lots of attractions, but also right next to a metro station and bus stops. Building has a Starbucks and a Lidl beside it which was perfect for grabbing some coffee and pastries for breakfast before exploring. Suite room was spacious with TV, shower, toiletries and coffee machine (no kettle, which would be a nice addition). Bed was comfy and plenty of pillows. Reception is shared with the hostel which is also located in the same building, and looking a bit tired. However staff were polite and friendly, and we didn't have any issues with noise or anything from the hostel. There is a luggage room beside reception where we were able to leave our bags after check out in the morning as our flights weren't until evening time. Had a lovely stay at Giselle and would highly recommend!

Great Locations !! easy access to everywhere.”

Me and my husband stayed in Giselle for 3 nights. We had a great stay here. The location is superb. It’s in the city center, close to everything and right next to the metro station. The guy at the reception was very helpful, he provided us a lot of helpful information about tourist attractions around Budapest. The only thing I did not see in the room is the house phone, if you need something you need to go down to the reception. By the way still highly recommend.

Old hotel with good location”

The hotel's location is very good, and it's quiet during the night, it's just 5 mins walk to the river bank. But the whole building needs a complete refurbishment, the reception is rather small, and the room needs more cleaning. If you want something more than a vintage experiance, maybe you should consider other hotels.

들어가는 입구가 심란해서 그렇지 막상 방에들어가면 깨끗하고 관리 잘되어 있어요. 화장실 배수구 냄새가 심합니다. 다른후기에서도 보았는데 제 방이 그럴줄이야. 화장실 청소상태는 좋습니다. 오래되서 배관에서 냄새가 나는것 같은데 청소로 해결될문제가 아닌듯. 화장실 냄새빼고 방컨디션이나 위치나 만족스러웠습니다. 하지만 저는 다시 묵을 생각은 없어요. 발코니있는방이라고 되어있는데 그냥 창문입니다.야경은 예뻐요.
