We absolutely loved our stay at The Grand Hotel Central, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff could not do enough for us, they were all so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely so modern and clean, and the huge bed was so comfy. We loved the rooftop pool bar it was so peaceful and chilled up there with amazing views. We can’t wait to visit the beautiful city of Barcelona again and stay at this wonderful hotel again.

Great location, best roof top bar & best concierge service!”
The hotel is central, a walking distance to most top attractions. Tastefully decorated & well maintained rooms. The roof top pool & bar is one of the best in terms of views, service & plays great music. The concierge had amazing recommendations for us - the service from all hotel staff is just amazing! Free mini-bar and Cava in the hotel lounge 👌🏾. The rooms are well insulated / this is important in city like Barcelona!

Great Hotel located walking distance from shops”
Hotel staff was exceptional! I was greeted immediately upon walking in to the hotel and was offered drinks and also had my bags brought up to the room. My room was ready immediately and the bell hop also provided a full tour of our room and explained how to use all of the amenities! The receptionist at the front desk was also helpful and explained different places to hangout in Barcelona and how to be safe in the city. Barcelona is a very safe city, just be smart with your bags and wallets! Keep them zipped up and keep values at the bottom of your bag. Also, keep a copy of your passport in your wallet and keep the original in the safe in your room!

High End Hotel with Great Service”
From the moment you step into the door, the service there is exceptional! Everyone is always ready to assist you with your bags and great you with a big hello. My wife and I stayed here twice during our Trip and when we arrived at 830am, they were able to accommodate us and give us a complementary room upgrade so she can get into our room and freshen up after a long travel day! The hotel was very safe and right down the block from one of the main strips in Barcelona. Would highly recommend this place if you are unfamiliar with the area and have poor Spanish like myself. The hotel concierge easily booked us taxis and the bell hops would fetch us cabs whenever we needed as well as translate the destinations for us (which was a big help)

This trip was our honeymoon and we had a fantastic stay. The staff were really accommodating and went out if their way to help us. There were fantastic restaurants on our door step and the hotel was also very close to the beach and harbourfront. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the nespresso in our room too. The breakfast was perfect and catered for all preferences it also went on until 12;00 so you could enjoy a lye in! The hotel had a lovely bar and pool on the top floor which gave spectacular views of the city and had a great atmosphere. We would reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Amazing hotel.....”
Where to begin? I stayed here for my 50th birthday with three friends. On arrival at check-in was greeted with a glass of cava. I booked 2 rooms and both were upgraded. Wow, a lovely room. Comfy beds, lovely linen, big fluffy towels, slippers, dressing gown...the bathroom was minimalist, monsoon shower. good toiletries including bath salts! The room had nespresso machine and a free mini-bar with water, coke, beer, crips and smarties! At night we had a turn down service. The sky bar and roof-top pool was great - that was the main reason I booked and I was not disappointed. The staff were amazing. Jaime, one of the managers was exceptional. I gave some feedback about an issue which he said was appreciated. He came to see me personally (it was a small niggle - and I hope he didn't go away thinking I was a complete moaner!). The front staff were very helpful. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble. I'd love to return. It is fabulous! Go stay!

Excellent”
The hotel is very clean and in a great area close to many attractions. The Gòtic area is very nice close to many restaurants and all kinds of stores. The hotel restaurant is very expensive and small. We didn’t eat at the restaurant or included the breakfast which was 29 euros per person instead we ate at little restaurant around the corner for 7 Euros per person about $14 dollars total.. I was disappointed that the gym was very small and didn’t have a treadmill luckily I like spinning and they have a spinning bike. They proclaim to have a full gym which was far from the truth. The pool area is very nice. The room was small and it had only one chair which I found strange since it was two of us in the room and would have been nice to have two chairs so we can seat and have our coffee in the morning. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel in great location”
We enjoyed a couple of days at the grand hotel central very friendly helpful staff on reception but poor service on the sun deck. Hotel is well located with good amenities however I don't feel it deserves five stars as bathroom was a little tatty service on rooftop poolside was not great and breakfast food selection a little dated i.e. no fresh juices or vegetable options.

Hotel is in great location, and has a great roof top pool - but unfortunately it is public and open to even non-hotel guests making it extremely busy and hard to get a bed Beer prices are steep too at 6 euro a beer

Wonderful and the hotel was so close to the Cathederal, the Picasso museum and some of Gaudi's work. The staff are excellent ! We will definitely return and recommend his hotel to our friends !
