Good hotel at a good price”
We stayed one night there and one night at Grandvrio Garden and we loved Villa Garden more. Our rooms were exactly like in the photos. The rooms were clean but given the location there were quite a lot of insects around which you couldn’t avoid. The staff was friendly and attentive. We asked if they have adhesive tape in the evening and the staff delivered it to our door. There were some free drinks at the lobby. There’s a small shop which opens 24/7 and it sells snacks and ice creams etc. We didn’t drive so we took the bus number 9 to travel around. The breakfast buffet was great. Btw we recommend the hotel restaurant 琉華Ryuka (near Grandvrio Garden) and restaurant 舟蔵の里 Funakuranosato which is within walking distance to the hotel.

Lovely resort”
Lovely resort - smaller than other large hotels which gives a nice personal feel. We only stayed one night as the outdoor pool was closed for winter and we wanted to lie out in the sunshine (26 degrees in winter!). We stayed in the presidential cottage which was very nice. Decor was gorgeous - lovely high end fit out & comfortable bed. Staff were so lovely, helpful and friendly. Convenient laundry room. Taxi journey 8mins to the town centre. I would definitely stay again (in summer with the pool open).

disappointing”
I booked this hotel for my birthday which I've communicated with hotel staff days before I've arrived. Some how they have Vietnamese staff to assist you, I guess they have limited English-speaking staff. I didn't feel welcome at all and a simply "Happy Birthday" will be great but no one seems to know what's going on, even the check-in staff which I've handed in my passport for registration and they've made a copy! Swimming pool is so small compare to the "lake" right next to it which was on maintenance. It's by the seafront but you can't swim in the ocean, that's no other water facilities information provided. Not like the Grandvrio Resort Ishigakijima garden hotel next to it, it's less organized overall. The restaurant only offers buffet and I ended up had my birthday dinner from the sister hotel. The open bath is a bit disappointing as well.

The location is good. Just 10 min drive from main streets (公設市場 etc) Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with excellent service. I ordered a cake and wine to be delivered to the room for my bf's birthday. They arranged everything very well and we had good communication all the way. I m glad that I chose this hotel for our holiday, the ocean view from the room was very healing. We could relax totally. It would be even better if a double bed could be provided instead of twins. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Public bath is very clean and a good thing to experience the Japanese culture. The pool is not as good as we thought. A bit smaller than we expected. If you drive, make sure you don't mix up with their sister resort which is only 2 minute away from driving

Relaxing place to stay ”
We enjoyed our stay very much. The private pool outside the room was amazing! The hotel located not very far from the city center, yet it's very quiet. The hotel did offer sufficient parking lots, however, you may need to park you car at the further away car park when the one right next to the hotel is full. And the closer car park offers limited parking lots. After all, we like this hotel.

Nice Hotel with Good Customer Service”
This hotel is a very good hotel compare with value for money, it is not far from ishigaki town hall and easy to reach by bus. Further it is also provide free shuttle bus to her client travelling between airport to hotel. I also appreciate her front desk service staff friendly and polite service. Beside, it give me a very impression that is the welcome drink which serve with their local famous draft beer 'Orion' to customer. I am also highly recommend who have time to take a break at this hotel client , they do walking of hotel beach when the sunset, it view is quite beautiful.

nice hotel, but the rooms don't have access straight to the beach, only garden which is still nice. swimming pool is way too small for me, if 4-5 people were swimming it's already full to get in. the rest is nice, free flow asahi beer at the lobby, superb!

The term "Resort" is used extremely loosely”
First, let me start with the positive. Clean facilities, decent staff, and the rooms are some of the most spacious I've seen in Japan. The room itself was nice and the bathroom/tub was wonderful. BUT, this place in my opinion is stretching it when it calls itself a RESORT. There is one restaurant on the property, serving a mediocre and extremely expensive buffet. There is no where to get drinks. The photo online looks like it has a giant pool, but don't be fooled as the pool is the small scalloped shape beside it. The pool actually only has one depth and that is about waist high, not great at all. And, the one day we decided to use it, they were draining the "fake pool" and there was just noise and commotion for the whole two hours we were in there. Our biggest disappointment was the "beach" , it's not a beach. It's a retaining wall. You are not allowed to swim there and it was piled with trash bags and bulldozers and it smelled terrible.

Even the room charge is a bit expensive during the peak season . I still enjoy my stay here with my fiancé . I have no luck to see the sun rise , sun set and the stars as the weather was bad . We will be back soon !

Service oriented hotel”
The hotel is located not far from downtown and the room is spacious and comfortable. However the pool is a bit small for such a good size of hotel property but the service of staff is excellent. Everyone of them has demonstrated very high standard of service !
