Lovely country side stay”

Guest house was located 5 minutes drive away from Takayama station, with shuttle bus provided is was pretty convenient. The onsen was a pleasant experience, though communication was a tad bit troublesome but the staff were friendly enough to help us as much as they can.

Decent stay for the price”

Overall it was a good stay for the price (About 2000 yen a night and 700 for unlimited onsen during our visit). If you don't like to onsen but you want to shower, you'll have to pay the onsen price. There were multiple minor annoyances with the staff, such as misplacing our keys constantly, moving us in and out of rooms, forcing a member of our group to pay for a massage that she didn't get, but they were nice otherwise. It's very clean! And the bedding is comfortable. Get the mixed dorm if you can - the lights were never turned off in the women's dorm and it got hot. Breakfast, we were told, is strictly "one cup of coffee, one toast" each, but we preferred to konbini it anyway. If you came by car, there is parking and the location isn't bad. Otherwise you'll have a hard time getting away from the hotel if you miss their two morning shuttles to Takayama station.

Decent stay for the price”

In general, for how much a night costs (about 2000 yen) and unlimited onsen use for the duration of the visit (for 700 yen), this was a good deal. We stayed for three nights and four days. The main problem came from the staff. We got the impression that the staff is trying to do too many things at once - run an onsen, run a guesthouse, run a restaurant, and run a massage business. It took us thirty minutes to check-in because they misplaced our paperwork. Then the staff put us in the mixed dorm to sleep (although we had booked female only for three nights), then the next morning after we checked our keys and were nearly out the door they told us we had to move our luggage out of the mixed dorm because they were switching us back to the female dorm. Then constantly throughout the duration of our stay the staff would switch our shoe keys/wristband keys, give us completely different keys, or lose them altogether. Another issue came up when a member of our group booked the wrong massage, had it cancelled, booked a different massage, and paid for it. The next day she was told that they had no record of the cancellation of the first massage and they forced her to pay for it. The language barrier might have been a problem, but we had a fairly fluent Japanese speaker who still couldn't manage to solve the situation with them. There were other minor problems as well. However, overall I would recommend the stay if you're willing to deal with multiple minor annoyances because of the price - we were a large group and probably confusing. The onsen is great, the bedding is comfortable (although in the female dorm they didn't turn off the lights while people slept?!? in the mixed dorm this wasn't a problem), and it is very clean. I can't speak for the location - it was fine for us because we came in our own car. I cannot comment on their bus service. But it definitely isn't within walking distance to most attractions.

actually, feel good, staff very nice and helpful. but the booking price is not include hot spring(=shower too) 700yen per nite but upgrade to private room just 500yen per nite, have free shuttle bus to hotel.

Eveything but the owner was nice”

Bus stop right outside, no place to lock in bigger bags, no charging close to bed available. High onsen tax (comparitivly), all staff were nice but the owner. His atitude was and is a disgrace to the japanese. From yelling at his staff infront of customers to answering his phone in the middle of payment without sending someone to take over or even excusing himself. What a joke.

I've been traveling for 7 month in Asia and probably this was one of the worst place to stay for the price I paid. No free shower, 1 toilet for 2 dormitory and 4km from the city center.

Este no es un alojamiento equiparable a estándares internacionales. Es un alojamiento para japoneses que ya saben dónde van: a un onsen que ofrece la posiblidad de pasar la noche. En realidad es una simple habitación en un onsen bastante normalito a 4 o 5 kilómetros de la ciudad (aunque tienen un shutle bus gratuito, pero con poquísimas frecuencias) y lo peor: te cobran por todo, incluso por ducharte. Sin posibilidad de lavar ropa si quiera. Lo único bueno es que al ser un onsen tiene zonas comunes chulas y que el personal es amable y hace lo que puede para explicar a todos los alucinados extranjeros que ese sitio funciona así... No vayas, paga un poco más y quédate en la ciudad.

Hay que ir el14-15 de abril para ver el festival de primavera. Ademas el autobus que te lleva de la estacion al hostel sin gasto alguno te permite disfrutar del festival hasta tarde

普通の温泉施設。高山祭のため泊まれただけでよかった。通常料金の約倍だったが入浴料は別料金。荷物預けに朝立寄り(チェックインはできない)その場で料金の支払い、なのに夜戻ると寝るところが確保できていない。待たされ入浴時間が1時間もなかった。

何と史上初の風呂無しシャワー無しの宿プランでした（風呂代別途700円で入浴可） 風呂無し明記が無いくせに浴室の写真貼りまくりの詐欺っぷりは、ボッタクリバーも真っ青レベル。 当然タオル無しハブラシ無し髭そりなしの、金・金・金のカワハギボッタはお見事。 更にベットはダニまくりで変えても変えてもダニダニダニ！の衛生管理意識ゼロ。 大阪西成以下の史上最低宿確定です。

เป็นเกสต์เฮ้าส์ที่คิดเงินเพิ่มแม้กระทั่งค่าอาบน้ำ ค่าอาบน้ำ 300 เยนต่อครั้ง ถ้าเป็นออนเซน 700 เยนครั้ง ถ้าอาบน้ำ 2 ครั้ง เช้ากับเยน ราคาเกือบจะเท่ากับไปนอนโรงแรมดีๆในเมืองได้เลย ที่นอนกับผ้าห่มก็เก่ามาก

ตอนแรกจะให้จ่ายเพิ่มเพื่อแช่อองเซน ให้อาบน้ำได้อย่างเดียว คุยสุดท้ายให้แช่่ได้ ห้องอาบน้ำ+ออนเซน เปิดปิดเป็นเวลา ใครวางแผนออกแต่เช้ามากๆ อาจไม่ได้อาบน้ำ สถานที่กว้าง ทำให้ห้องนอน ห้องน้ำ ห้องอาบน้ำ/ออนเซน อยู่ห่างกัน

이용 후기에 셔틀이 있다는 정보 아니었으면 고생할 뻔 했습니다. 생각보다 거리가 멀어요. 셔틀 꼭 이용하세요. 직원분들은 정말 친절하고 좋았습니다. 남자라서 편했다고 생각합니다. 나홀로 여자이신분은 조금 불편할 것 같아요.
