This guest house is awesome, it's a bit out from where most of the stuff you do is BUT the owner goes above and beyond with FREE pick up and drop offs to anywhere in the area. There's also free bicycles available to use. The owner is an absolute gem of a person. Would stay again.

Nicest landlord in Honami Kaido”
The landlord was the highlight of this accommodation. He picked me up from the train station to the hotel (which is quiet remote) and brought me to the monkey park for free. Amazing service!

Great location to the monkeys ”
Common room is very cozy, like back home (made of wood). Our bedroom is a typical Japanese style, it's cold in winter but you are given hot bag to keep you warm. The owner can drop off and pick up to the town and the monkey park as part of the services. (More info when you are there). Our stay was definitely worth it.

山之内町の民泊”
喫茶店を改造したゲストハウスです。ゲストハウスというよりは、民泊という日本語表現の方がよいと思います。オーナーは地元の農家なので、色々とお話が聞けます。送迎もしてくれます。湯田中温泉に近いので、送迎もしてくれます。スキー場にも近いところです。でも日本人としては、車がないと不便なところでもあります。

The feeling of going home”
My partner and I stayed at this hotel. The owner was very friendly and introduced us to the hotel facilities. The lobby was large and warm, with a piano. As it happens, my husband is a piano teacher, so after dinner, he played the piano while we drank tea. It felt like home and we really enjoyed our stay here.
