Lovely little place to get away for a few days”

I had a fantastic stay at Guest House Miyakojima. The owners are a lovely couple and the facilities are great for what you pay for - plus there's draft beer on tap! The gorgeous Maehama beach is a short walk away but most of the other sights are a bit further away so you either need a bicycle or a car to get anywhere. But as a place to just get away from it all and unwinds for a few days, Guest House Miyakojima can't be beaten

Great place to stay in Myiakojima!”

We enjoyed our stay in the guest house. First of all, I don't know why cleaness is a problem for some people. It was super clean everywhere and staff was wonderful. They give you this backpacking / surfer experience in the guest house we really enjoyed (parents with 6 month old kiddo). We had room with twin bed, fridge and working AC (working fine!). Enough space inside + nice patio to go out. There was common room with couches, kitchen (fully equipped) and fridge where you could grab beer or soft drink for normal price. There were nice people in, staff was attentive and other guests were great (3 solo travellers from England, Singapur and Brasil). Maybe it gets messy in the peak season, I don't know. For us was absolutely fun-tastic. You can rent free scooters, bikes and snorkling masks (there are 3 scooters and 3 bikes so it might not be for everyone when more guests). It's really close to the most beautiful beach on the island (1,5 km) but it's away from the city so if you want to go to restaurant you either take scooter or have rented car on your own. There is possibility of airport pickup. ALL in ALL: we really recommend it !

Laid-back”

Guesthouse Miyakojima was a pleasant stay. The owner was very laid-back and the check-in was quick. There was free wifi. The owner speaks quite good English if you need. There is a guard-dog at the house who is very friendly. Quiet area. The owner allows you to borrow snorkelling gears for your trip. The room was in a house with shared bathroom and kitchen. The room was fully equipped with internet, TV and a full-fledge refrigerator + freezer. The house is made of wood which was really charming. Free parking available at an open space in front of the guesthouse. It is not your typical hotel room, so if you expect something classy and spotless, you need to look for something else. Overall a great stay.

Very clean and comfortable place to live”

It's a very great experience staying there. The owner is very nice and helpful. They cleaned the house everyday in the afternoon, so when u were back from the beach it was really goodfeeling that the house where u lived was clean and comfortable everywhere. And they would lend you bicycle for free so that u can ride it to the fantastic beach or to the small supermarket nearby and buy something for dinner. If I go back to Miyako one day, I will live there as well.

We enjoyed our stay here because everything that is needed for a comfortable stay is provided. The rooms were spacious with a private patio, had both a fan and AC for your comfort on an island, there was a laundry machine and detergent provided for use, the yard had clothes lines and hangers for drying, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking from pots, pans, utensils, to all sorts of condiments you may need to cook with, and the guesthouse provided free bikes and snorkeling gear for when you wanted to hit the beaches. The showers had all the toiletries you needed, so our stay was like staying at a friend's house and you could borrow whatever. The guy running the place was helpful with any questions we had, and he drove us from and to the airport.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in”

Really relaxing...there are bike rentals available at will, and a motorbike for rent. It was the one moment on my trip when I really felt like I was on vacation. The owner will transport you to and from the airport for a nominal fee but you must call in advance. I'd definitely stay again.

relaxed and peaceful place near to the beach”

the guesthouse is located near to a fantastic beach, and the free bikes makes it easy to go around. Just be informed the peaceful location also means there are not many places to eat, especially in the morning and later evening. The guesthouse provides kitchen incl. all cooking facilities and free coffee/tea. They also provide free pickup/transfer from/to the airport. If you are looking for a laid pack place with easy access to the beach...its highly recommended.

4日間滞在しましたが、スタッフが宿にいたことはほとんどありませんでした。 何か連絡や聞きたいことがある場合は、自分の携帯で宿に電話するしかオーナーさんに連絡が取れません。 アクティビティーに関しても何ひとつ手助けはしてくれませんでした。 居候だという年配のひとがいて、ドミトリーの床の上で裸で寝ていました。いつもエアコンのリモコンを隠して持っており設定温度は２２－２３度。送風は常に強風で大変寒い思いをしました。

それなりに快適なゲストハウス”

中心部から離れてます。近くには車で5分くらいでAコープ、飲み屋も徒歩圏内に一軒あり。車かバイクがあれば便利かも。レンタカーも電話でお願い出来ます。48時間で5500円でした。無料駐車場あり。台所に調味料や鍋類あるので自炊可能。自炊しながらダラダラするには良さそうです。

気を遣わなくすむゲストハウス”

最低限のルールを守って勝手にどうぞ！といったスタイル。自転車、バイクが無料で借りられます。外国からのバッパが多く、ワイファイは無料で快適に使えます。５００円でオーナーが、空港まで送ってくれます。また、カイトボードのレンタルや指導もしてくれるようです。

주변에 식당이 거의 없어서 근처 편의점에서 도시락 주로먹음 보통 카이트보딩 하러 오는거 같음. 비수기라 사람 거의 없음. 렌트카 필수.
