Good location, friendly staffs, value!”
Although it's a rather small place compared to another hostel opposite, wagayado offers comfort bed and plenty of utilities for you to crash and freshen up after a long day of exploring Hokkaido. I lived here throughout my 8 days in Hokkaido. The location is one of it's best selling point with only 6mins walk to Sapporo JR, a couple of konbini and McDonald's along the way so you can grab some food on your way out or back to the hostel. Staffs are pretty friendly and flexible as well, able to speak decent English to accommodate your requests. Will definitely return on my next visit to Hokkaido.

Nice guest house, nice staff~ ”
All staff I met here are helpful and nice. Yuto, Misu, Yudai. Special thanks to Yudai when we need help for another stay in Sapporo. That day the train between Sapporo and Hakodate was closed due to landslide/heavy rain and we forced to stay one more night at Sapporo. Unfortunately, the guest house was full and Yudai tried his best to assist us. With his assistance, we able to stay comfortably at another hostel. Yudai, thanks again for your best service~

great. the best in this price I guess”
very cheap. I stayed there for 2 nights when I arrived in Sapporo and when I came back I still chose to stay there. very convenient, near to jr station and Hokkaido University. I walked to every place, like beer factory, shopping center. drawback: cold at the living room, maybe because there's no many guests that night so no heat in the living room, so I have to stay at my room.

Exceptional”
The overall experience is very good. House is clean and although it is a bumper bed you still got some privacy there. The best part is the staff there, they are super nice and very willing to provide help when needed (even after checking out)! I would choose this place again if I am to go to Sapporo in the future.

All-rounded Hostel”
According to location, it's close to the Sapporo Station. It is also near to a few attractions such as the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building and Odori Park. I think it is pleasant to take a stroll nearby. Staff is helpful and welcoming. They can also speak good English. I had a good time staying here in Sapporo!

quiet side of Sapporo”
very walkable from the north exit of sapp station. about 5 mins or 10 to 15 mins when snow is slippery. probably a basic old wooden house converted into a capsule type. a bit tight. but linens are good and clean. bedside outlet and light is provided for each. only 2 shower and 3 toilet. but what the heck, people dont take a bath that much in Sapp because its freakin negative. hahaha. very good soba n(noodle place) nearby where locals go... you'll def walk pass by this on you way to wagayado. staff are the nicest and well conversant in english.

Excellent on all levels - location/price/staff”
Location was excellent and accessible to all major spots within Sapporo city on foot. The cleanliness is well-maintained and facility is excellent for the price. But the best part is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff! Can't expect a better experience for a guesthouse :)

Affordable hostel near JR Sapporo Station”
Booked this place during Sapporo Snow Festival with good price. Hostel is around 10 minutes walk from Sapporo Station which is convenient. Very friendly staffs.

Comfortable but small”
Front desk was really nice, but the place overall is very small. You must climb stairs, and there are only 2 bathrooms. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided, as are ear plugs and cotton swabs, but other things are for sale. My room had a place for luggage for everyone, but it could get crowded if the room was full. My bed was also right next to the window, so it was really bright in the morning. The curtain was slightly too small for the bed so there was a small sliver where people could see through as well. However, there was an outlet and light near the bed and locker with lock. The beds and comforter were extremely comfortable as well! I walked from Sapporo station - location is A+.

Nice clean friendly hostel. Seems like there is more and more competition in the area. Good value. Free bikes to use. Breakfast for 300 yen includes toast with a variety of jams and tea/coffee. Well stocked kitchen. Better hostel than the first place I stayed in Sapporo.

Just one night at mixed dorm: + So close with JR Sapporo Station. + All staff is nice and イケメン（笑）. Can speak English very good. + Because the female room that day is full so pick mixed room and fine. - none.

Pretty close to Sapporo station (10-15 minutes walk). Pretty complete facilities too. The staffs were nice. I had to find last minute and was grateful I could find something cheap in the middle of snow festival. Recommended.

Great quality guest house plus great location ”
That the price is good, and location is 10' walk from the Jr station is obvious. Then having great vibes, super nice and helpful staff plus a confortable bed and a nice chill common makes it the right choice on your visit to Sapporo. Which is an awesome place too!

Very good”
This place is a bit further from the main road, but walking distance around 10-15 mins to Sapporo station. The room is smaller than expected. There is not much space around to put your stuff if you have a big luggage. The room is very clean and there are two bathrooms downstairs. If you don't mind the small space this is good value of what you pay for.
