          A wonderful getaway place that is well worth the price - I will definitely want to stay here next time if I visit Hakuba”

          - Very pleasant, very clean (if you can over look the tiny flying bugs that are the testament of its naturalistic surrounding). - Very friendly. David was more than accommodating. - The room comes fully with complimentary breakfast items like bread, eggs, milk, juice, tea, coffee, cereals and fresh bananas. - Situated in the cottage village higher up from the town center. Takes a little while to drive but not a problem with a car.
          - We had a little problem with the hot water rather late at night, but David was very kind to help.

          Fantastic Family stay”

          The staff at this location make you feel so welcomed and are happy to help you with anything! They go out of their way to give you lifts to places and help you book restaurants or plan your day. They know the area really well, speak perfect english and Japanese, and are lovely to talk to. Their location is fantastic, so close to the bus stop for getting around Hakuba ski resorts, right next to rhythm sports for ski hire, and sooo close to a beautiful onsen that I used every day! The rooms are large, the kitchen space is perfect, the beds are comfortable and the shower and bath is exceptional. I couldn't fault the room, it had everything we needed and they give you so much to help you get started like butter, tea, eggs and milk. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely return.
          There isn't a bar in the complex but that is fine as there is a pub two minutes away - everything is within reach, nothing is inconvenient to get to.

          Highly recommend for anyone heading to Hakuba, we will be back!”

          Dave and Takami made our stay at Hakuba Grand amazing! From booking to arrival we were completely taken care of and settled right in. A complimentary lift from the train station and occasionally to the supermarket was a huge help. The apartments themselves are roomy, exceptionally clean and have everything you need, breakfast items were provided and it also contains everything for home cooking. A drying room and washing machine on the ground floor are super handy. Only a few minutes walk to the closest lifts and rental facilities, as well as close to a variety of restaurants and shops for dinner really helped. The kids got a kick out of the snowball makers and toboggans for communal use out front. We will definitely be back! :)

          More than we expected in every wonderful way possible. The staff and facilities were hands down the best we have ever had. We had an emergency while staying, my son broke his arm, and they went above and beyond to help us. I am forever grateful and will definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone!

          Dave (the manager) and Takami were simply fabulous. They went out of their way to drop us off and pick us up from our ski school. They were available anytime we needed help and given this was our first time in Hakuba, they made it so easy for us. They helped us with booking of ski classes before we arrived and with ski equipment and restaurants while we were in Hakuba. They made a reservation for a restaurant every night when we requested. There was also laundry and a dryer to dry all our wet ski equipment. We could return the skis to the rental by leaving it in the hotel. The apartment was absolutely fabulous- clean, warm and they provided a basket full of breakfast items upon arrival. When we needed more groceries, they would drop us off at the supermarket to pick up the items. Kids made full use of the sleds and enjoyed snow right in front of the apartment. Overall, it was a super stay and highly recommended.

          Family friendly environment with beautiful views and the most helpful staff!”

          Our primary interaction with the staff was with David. From the moment we reserved the property he was very responsive to answer questions or requests and proactive to offer services. Upon arrival he continued to make sure we had everything we needed for each day or the following day. He was very detail oriented in making suggestions and offering assistance. David helped to make the environment family friendly by making sledding routes for the kids and making sure sleds and shovels and snowball makers were handy. the drying room and gear locker were also handy and very spacious. Having food pre-stocked in the fridge was very helpful. all of the dishware was very clean. The location was walking distance from the Happo Bus Terminal (about 20 min walk) and from one of the Happo lifts (about 12 min walk). The rooms were clean and comfortable with clear views of mountains and trees. The parking lot was easy to maneuver and David kept the snow clear for people with cars. also on-site laundry facilities were beneficial - very easy to use washers and dryers.

          Walking distance from Sakka of Happo Ski area. Very close to the nice pub. Extremely clean, comfortable, spacy room so that we could be relaxed 100% there. We also enjoyed breakfast kit. Very spacy in dry room so that we can be ready to go skiing and pack at the end.
          All A/C are on to keep warm then the room goes very dry. It would be excellent to have several humidifiers.

          The property was well maintained with a convenient gear storage space. The 3-Bedroom appartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect with restaurants within walking distance (10-20 min). Though not ski-in, it was a easy ski-out. The staff gave us a ride to Happo-One in the morning and the other main mountains were only a 15-20 minutes drive. All that said, Dave and his staff were the best part of our stay. Dave was spot on with dinner and skiing reccomendations including getting us reservations and arranging rides to and from. We really appreciated his hospitality and would definitly stay here again.
          Not really a dislike since everything was perfect, but if there was an onsen, this would really be the complete package.
