A super homely & comfy stay”
Like staying with your friendly old grandma and grandpa, I was well looked after at Happy Talk with a super cozy lounge to hang out in complete with coffee/tea and a manga library, the owners have travelled all over the world and brought their curios back to decorate the house - it's super cute and you wont regret staying here!

Beautiful family, good budget accomodation but like others have said, smelly toilets”
The family who owned the business were all very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Location is a 5 minute walk outside of Echoland and near 3 shuttle bus locations. The pension was very clean however as other reviews have said, men’s toilets do smell really really bad. Clearly a sewage issue because even when you use the women’s toilet, as soon as the flap at the bottom of the toilet has been opened (think mid-way through doing your business) the stench from below is foul. Great accommodation when you’re on a budget and the toilets are my only complaint.

the hotel location is good: here is a popular shuttle stop to happo-one and Goryu, and a big bus stop just walk 10min. the place also close to Echoland, which you can find food and shops, and not far from Happo-one. Host is a japanese grandpa, who is nice and kind. Room is small but enough for a single traveler. Overall, I would recommend again.

A friendly and valued pension ”
It's a Japanese version of B & B with/without breakfast by your choice. The owner couple used to travel to many countries. They are very nice, pleasant, and friendly. The facilities are aging but clean. They have community toilets and a shower room. My husband and I went to nearby Onsen after activities. Easy access to restaurants in the area. We have favorite restaurants and cafes in the area by walking. If you need a simple place and inexpensive place to stay, I recommend this place. I love the entrance area with wild flowers in summer!

Highly recommend this place to anyone”
This is a great little guesthouse thats perfect for backpacker style travellers. The hosts are amazing and so friendly. I’d recommend getting the cooked breakfast each morning at the guesthouse - the female owner does a mean Western and Japanese breakfast. While located close to a number of restaurants and bars, it’s a fair walk to the slopes. However there’s a regular shuttle bus that drops you off there less than 100m from the guesthouse. That’s truly the only negative I’d say (which is not really a massive one).

民宿主人非常熱情”
地點剛好在八方巴士站及白馬車站中間，走路約15分鐘，可選擇搭計程車前往約車站。民宿老闆非常熱情，因為手機網卡無法通話，老闆有幫忙代叫計程車，此行剛好遇到日本連假，老闆也幫忙問了好幾間餐廳是否有空位。

優點：門口有免費巴土可以到八方.五龍.47雪場，老闆也是很親切。缺點是：乾燥室及房間內的電暖器不夠力，濕掉的雪具(手套.雪鞋)烘不乾，連住好幾天衣服只能手洗也沒有地方可以脫水。
