This is a classic Japanese hotel. Basic amenities provided. Room size ok. Buffet breakfast and dinner were fantastic although no sashimi served. Chef did a good job. Free flow of beverages including alcohol. Very worth it!

Excellent”
If you are looking for a simple stay for you to do your ski or snowboard sessions, Hakuba Hotel Paipu No Kemuri is recommended. Situated near to the gondola and ski lifts. Rooms are quite basic with a bathroom with bathtub and a small fridge. The hotel has a restaurant and separate male & female onsen. The hotel will also provide lockers to store your ski/snowboard equipment outside your room too. The only comment regarding the Hotel would be that the interior of hotel and room looks a bit old and could do an upgrade (i.e. making it a bit more modern) as well the lighting in the room is a bit dark too. The walls between rooms are quite thin also; so can here sounds from the next room quite easily. Nonetheless, it was a good stay.

Vintage and charming hotel, provided excellent service and had a great location if you have a car. If you don’t, it’s a bit of an uphill walk to get to the hotel and there’s no elevator in the hotel itself

Ski holiday”
Good location, beware, they won’t let you into your room before 3pm. Buffet meals are good value, staff are friendly and helpful. Lifts right across the road for happo1. Good onsen for after skiing and reception lounge nice and warm. No wifi in the rooms.

Location location ”
The location close to Evergreen ski school for children was excellent. Close to two lifts to start skiing day. Had drying room & lockers for skiing stuff. Staff extremely helpful, with most ok with English. Room simple but functional. Pictures accurate. Plenty of hot water & rooms warm. Loved the onsen. We stayed x7 nights & didn’t have a room service in this time which was a little disappointing, maybe we could have asked. Breakfast same every morning, adequate but not exceptional. Buffet dinner again adequate food, great value considering it included beer, sake & wine. Wifi only in the lounge area.

Wow, what an outstanding breakfast. There is something for everyone!!!!! Best breakfast in the area. The room was kinda small, but ok. Loved the hot water and green tea available 24/7 in the hall. Ski lockers and reception area was great. Staff was excellent. Location to skiing was perfect.

Older traditional hotel but good value”
This place is rather quaint and on the older side but has everything you need if your expectations are reasonable. The hotel design is obviously from the 80s or so and a little dated, but also quite charming in that regard. Rooms are big enough but simply appointed. There's public baths with indoor and outdoor, a large lobby with big windows and lots of seating, plus lockers and drying rooms so you don't need to keep all your gear in your room. The breakfast and dinner are great value, the menu doesn't change much day to day but there's a decent variety of staples (Japanese and western), plus all you can drink draft Asahi, wine and sake at dinner. Location in between two lift areas for Happo One and there's also shuttles to other areas nearby, but the actual Hakuba shuttle is a fair walk away. There are also some bars and restaurants down the hill a little, taxi to the bus station was around 1100 yen. Seemed to be mostly Japanese guests, the staff speak enough English to communicate the basics but I don't think they see a whole lot of westerners there.

白馬観光にちょうど良いホテルです”
2023年7月15日～17日に宿泊しました。 八方ゴンドラ乗り場、シャトルバス乗り場が徒歩3分くらいで便利です。 部屋は清潔、ホテルで白馬のゴンドラ・ロープウェイ・リフトの前売り券を販売しています。 夕食と朝食付きの宿泊で、ビュッフェですが、１日目と２日目は料理の内容は変わるので飽きずに食べられます。夕食時お酒もついているのでお買い得感があります。 この時期は五竜植物園、栂池、八方尾根すべて花がたくさんで美しいです。 白馬内のシャトルバスは混雑時は臨時便が出ていました。試験運転のデマンドタクシーがとても便利でした。

お支払いはチェックイン時に済ませてチェックアウトはフロントに鍵をお返しするだけで 登山やスキーで利用なら早朝でもすぐ出られるのが良かったです

アゴタで２泊したらキャッシュバックが１日分しか決済されず、もう１日分還元されなかった。どのホテルも１日分しか決済されないので、これはアゴタのキッシュバック詐欺でしかない。決済する方も１日ごとのキャッシュバックだと思ってないのだろう。

登山の前泊に利用。”
場所は確かにリフトに近く良かったけど、それ以外は設備の作りも古くて3階の客室まで階段で荷物をあげるし、温泉はカランは１つ故障中となっていたが、10箇所のうち3箇所は温度調整が難しかったり、水圧が弱かった。朝ごはんのブッフェは和食と洋食があったけど、特に良いというほどでもない。

スノーボードをしに初の長野へ スキー場から近い宿を探していたところ発見したので予約しました。 乾燥室や板保管用のロッカーもあり 部屋までは階段でしたが、お風呂もよくあったまり、何より夕飯がお酒飲み放題で1,500円(?)破格過ぎました。 スタッフさんも親切で愛想の良い方で1泊だけでしたが十分満足出来ました！ また機会があれば泊まりたいです！
