Excellent quality/ price rapport”
Well located close to Happo-One ski station and gondola. Very clean. Super friendly and helpful staff, with excellent English if you need. Large room, beautiful mountain view. Nice clean onsen in hotel. Has a bar-restaurant attached (Tap Room, with sadly for me only american style food... but nonetheless handy and friendly). Would go again!

Great stay, excellent service”
Everyone working at Hakuba Panorama during our stay are what made this holiday a highlight. We really enjoyed the hotel, it's position, the Tap Room restaurant and the team members who were helpful with advice, pick ups and drops offs, check in and check out. The onsen is lovely, laundry is handy - just be early. Beds comfortable and rooms very warm. Connections via the Nagano Shuttle from Tokyo and other bookings with ski equipment hire through the hotel were convenient. We got accustomed to the warm toilet seats in Japan, and thats the only thing they didn't have. But all in all - it was a great stay. Thank you Jess, and all!

Perfect accommodation for a skiing holiday”
The rooms were bigger than expected, comfy beds, well heated, breakfast was really nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of shuttles and services available. The only thing I think they are missing is a bigger foywr/lounge area where you can hang out during the day.

Thank you for your great review Kathryn!
Friendly, family-run hotel”
we enjoyed our stay at the panorama. the room was big and the beds v comfortable (tho the bathroom was small - this seems to be common in hakuba, maybe to encourage you to use the onsen baths, which were wonderful. we used them every day after skiing, which was bliss). the breakfasts were nice and different every day. the happo one slopes are about a 10 minute walk uphill (and a 5 minute ski downhill!) from the hotel. other slopes at goryu, hakuba 47 etc were accessible by the free bus that stops right outside the hotel, which was great. the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help - including running us down to the hospital in the next town (for free) when one of us was sick. they also ran a free restaurant bus in the evening, taking you to wherever you wanted to eat in the area. v nice all round.

Great View and Excellent Service”
we stayed here late in the season but had lots of fresh snow. the hakuba village is quite spread out but the panorama is in a good position; about a 10 minute walk to happo, 5 min walk to the information center where you can get free shuttle buses to the other resorts - that's, if you miss the free shuttles that stop right out the front door. the staff here do an amazing job and make you feel right at home. they do a great buffet breakfast for a big day out on the slopes and also a good selection of well priced meals if your too tired to head out for a meal. we would love to come back some time!

Super staff”
We stayed in the Panorama Hotel for a week's skiing trip. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We were picked up at the station, taken to hire skis and driven to the ski areas/Happo Info in the morning and restaurants in the evening. Advice was given freely by email before we arrived and about Tokyo as we left. The room was very comfortable with a large bed and plenty of room. Breakfast was included and a great start for a day's skiing. The onsen was also very relaxing at the end of the afternoon. Walking to Happo village and convenience stores was easy too. A great stay!

Very nice staff and delightful onsen”
We stayed for four nights during the February ski season. The staff really go out of their way to help us, especially with two little kids. On our first day of skiing, they drove us to the ski rental shop and then to the ski school at Hakuba for kids. We also rented a car to drive and see the snow monkeys (we highly recommend it). The staff gave us a local rental agency who came to the hotel to drop off and pick up the car. The onsen was small and basic, but very nicely maintained. On one evening, we requested to reserve one of them (there is one for men and one for women) for a family spa. We really appreciate onsens, so this was a nice treat. The rooms are big and basic. Not too much to rave about, but they served us well and had a wonderful view of the mountains. For restaurants, the front desk will make reservations and drive you to the restaurant. Just tell them the kind of food you want. You are on your own to get back though. Great place, I would go again.

Great Ski Holiday”
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel on a 4 day ski trip to Hakuba. It's well located near the major ski slopes and is only a short walk to various restaurants etc. It isn't brand new, but it's efficiently maintained and tidy and everything works fine. It caters well for westerners. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff (Tak and the girls) are among the best we have met anywhere. They are very attentive and friendly. At the end of our stay, it was like saying goodbye to close friends. This is a great hotel and we will be back.

Excellent place for a snowboarding holiday”
We enjoyed our stay at the Panorama Hotel as there were friendly staff, a wide variety of breakfast choices, panoramic views of the ski fields and large rooms for Japan. I had an injury while over there and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel shuttle bus takes you pretty much where ever you want locally and they sometimes have special day trips to lesser know snow fields which is great for exploring. Was so impressed I have already booked for next year.

Great stay in a great location with great staff”
We had a great stay at the Panorama. Kevin who owns the place is really helpful, with some great info on the area and where to ski. All the staff spoke English and again were really helpful. When you have so many mountains to choose from for your days ski, it's great to get some advice. If you really want some up to date info though, there is no beating the facebook pages for each resort. This hotel is well located too, being close to the Info centre where all the buses leave from - to other resorts and other parts of the country. It's close to the town and restaurants and close enough to the slopes. Dont worry about it not being ski in ski out, you will end up on buses to other resorts anyway, so it will only matter if you are only skiing at Happo-one. Great stay, would recommend and will go back

Ski holiday with young family ”
Our stay at the panorama was good. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. It was too far from the slopes to walk with skis (and young children) but the staff were helpful with giving us rides to the ski lifts.

Good hotel with large rooms and good facilities”
The hotel is excellent with large rooms, good service and restaurant catering with western and japanese food. The location is not perfect for skiiers but shuttle busses and the hotels bus make it relatively easy to get you to all the nearby ski areas and village and restaurant areas. Internet and WiFi are available and there were always english speaking staff available.
