The host made me feel very welcome. When I asked if it's possible to order breakfast, she said it's not an option but they can make us delicious rice balls to bring for the hike to Mt. Karamatasu. I will certainly stay here again!

Very friendly owner”
Owner is extremely nice and can speak english, can approach her if you need help. Also provided home-made snacks and even an amulet gift, very nice gesture. Even offered a ride to the jr station when i was returning. Location is very near to bus terminal, walking distance to happo-one gandola. Room was adequate. Went during summer, which might explain the lack of guests, so no waiting for toilets.

Perfect place to stay in Happo One! In Hakuba! It's the absolute perfect ski-town inn. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Great value, great size, great little onsen. Beyond charming. The owner is beyond sweet, could not take better care of you. She is just perfect. Even made us apres ski snacks! Easy walk to bars, restaurants, even the slopes - but if you don't want to walk 15 minutes, the shuttle to Happo One stops right outside the hotel. Stay here, it's everything you're looking for for your weekend ski trip.

The host provide lots of useful information about hakuba. They are very passionate and helpful such as giving us a warm reminder about weather and serve us the handmade Japanese snack. The location is very convenient and room is very clean.

You cannot find a better hotel in Hakuba than Hakuba Ski-Kan”
Impeccable service, the owner was super friendly and helped us with restaurant bookings and ski gear hire. The hotel is an authentic Japanese style hotel with onsite hot spring. There are lots of ancient beautiful Japanese decorations throughout the hotel, and there is a snow gear drying room downstairs. The hotel is close to all amenities. I had a great time and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend it!

Stayed here for 6 nights and we absolutely love it!! Takako San and family are super friendly n helpful n even helped us with booking of restaurants when needed. My family loved soaking at the onsen after our daily snowboarding. Although it is just a short 2 min walk from the happo one bus terminal, they still went to the bus terminal to fetch us to and fro!! We had a fantastic time here and will definitely stay here again. Thanks Takoka San and family :)

more than you expected”
The owner is the third generation running of this inn, that it has been more than 70 years history. It's old but very traditional and clean inn. The lady owner speaks well in English and very enthusiastic towards all your inquiries and her husband is very helpful to drive you to the neaby attractions. Traditional Japanese breadfast is the must try! I will more than happy to introduce this inn to anyone who wants to get in touch the traditional culture of Japanese.

Fantastic experience”
Takako and her husband were just incredible, helping us book dinners for our groups of friends, letting us have drinks and games in the communal space and just generally being awesome. And the onsen was perfect after a hard day on the snow. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the Happo-one area.

Excellent traditional Japanese accommodation!”
The stay here was wonderful! It's a great insight into traditional Japanese culture and living, from the delicious food to the onsen (hot spring bath), to the kimonos and slippers provided. This was a lovely place to stay and all needs were attended to.

とても良いホテルです”
急な滞在でしたのに、とても気持ちの良い滞在が出来ました。 館内にある日本の物を子供達が興味を持って見て回っていました。普段は近くでは見れない物なので、じっくり見れて楽しかったようです。 温泉も5人入れば満員になる大きさですが、清潔で気持ち良く入れました。他の人と一緒にならなかったため、ゆっくりと堪能出来ました。 スタッフの皆様がとても良くしてくれました。 ウェルカムにリンゴを剥いて置いていただいて、とても美味しかったです。

老闆娘很親切，彈性大，很多感動”
入住前老闆娘會通過email溝通抵達時間，解決交通問題。基本英文都可溝通。當天由老闆到車站接我。入住時還有水果及果凍招待。由於晚上入住，當地餐廳淡季早早關門，老闆娘帶我去一家附近的餐廳用餐。附近有Lawson 走路四分鐘。 地點靠近白馬八方巴士總站。隔天要去搭登山接駁很方便，走路三分鐘。老闆娘還在出門前給我一顆蘋果讓我帶上山。 預計上山三天，但因為天氣不好早一天下山。變成提早一天入住，老闆娘說沒問題。還招待我梅子和醋。 多一天空檔，老闆娘幫我想可以去哪。還意外送我一碗湯當早餐。 房間寬敞，有可愛的小燈是老闆娘做的。公共區域有提供微波爐。還有公共溫泉可以泡。 離開當天老闆娘請兒子載我到車站。一樣送了很多餅乾給我路上吃。 只要跟老闆娘溝通好每天的行程，她都會盡最大的協助。
