Went there for a snowboarding trip and this hotel had all the amenities needed. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, van rides to slopes and great restaurant for eating. Also included a store inside for snowboarding or skiing supplies that are reasonably priced. Would stay here again and would highly recommend. Only negative is that I’m an American with tattoos and using the onsen was not permitted due to my tattoos. Besides that it’s a great hotel for the area.

Holiday in Hakuba”
The hakuba tokyu hotel is a Gem from the past . Its location, scenic locale and the property ambience are extraordinary. Truly makes your stay a memorable one. The staff service especially Romain the front office manager who is a getleman extraordinaire is a good reason to dtay only here. Its vicinity to nearby restaurants, ski slopes makes this perfect. The rooms especially mountain facimg ones are beautiful . The breakfast is repetitive but delicious All in all its an expensive but fantastic locale

Week long stay in Hakuba”
We at stayed at the Tokyu hotel in Hakuba just over a week ago. We enjoyed our stay all in all. We had the included breakfast every day, it was pretty got with a balance of western and Japanese fare. We also tried the pub did and French restaurant. The pub food was pretty good (although quite expensive). The fresh food was even more expensive and nothing to write home about. We really liked the hotel provided smartphone with free intentional calls. Also enjoyed a nice Onsen at the end of a long day of skiing. There was a locker and drying room for all your equipment. The drying room was a bit cramped. There were lots of other dining options close by and fairly frequent shuttle buses to the resorts and town. The room itself is big enough with our only real complaint being the twin bed setup which isn't ideal for couples that like to sleep together. Aside from the fairly average snow conditions (by Japanese standards), we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great hotel at Hakuba”
I'd recommend this hotel to those who would like to stay near the happo one slope. The room I stayed in is clean and spacious. It also comes with a balcony with nice snow view. There is a wide variety of food choice (both Japanese and western food) for breakfast. The outdoor onsen is amazing after a day of skiing. I'd like to thank the staff for their exceptional service, very helpful in dinner reservation and even offer to drive us to town after realising we missed the night shuttle.

Great hotel and fabulous location however the real difference was the staff. The entire concierge and front desk team were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The level of service and commitment to ensuring we had a fun and relaxing holiday was at a a 6 star level.

Great hotel to stay at if you are wanting to access the slopes. The restaurant at the hotel is over priced but I would certainly stay again and eat elsewhere.

We had a room that was a good size for our group of 3 Adults, the room we were allocated had views of Happo. Our package came with breakfast and dinner. There was a good spread of food for breakfast consisting of both Japanese and Western styled food items. Our Japanese dinner was excellent, although the portions looked small but there was ample courses to keep you full. The staff that worked at the restaurants and bar were attentive and very friendly.

Fantastic 20th wedding anniversary holiday”
Staff were always helpful. The onsen in the hotel was the best especially after a day of skiing. . We had a beautiful view of the winter garden from our window. Wifi was strong everywhere in the property.

Was disappointed when the view from our balcony does not look like advertised and the out door onsen was closed due to the snow. Overall experience was decent but the hotel is old, not really worth the price we pay

Rooms are a good size for families”
Overall very good, nice onsen with full toiletries provided. Good opening onsen hours from 5am-1am almost open for 20hours good for people who want to start their day early during winter season.
