Recommended as a convenient, comfortable location to enjoy the Harz area.”

Good facilities, comfortable, quiet, very clean, good range of equipment for self catering, and host responds quickly to questions. The DB and HSB railway station is close-by, and it is a short walk into the lovely old town of Werinigerode, where there are plenty of good restaurants. There is a budget supermarket a short walk in the opposite direction, along with an independent bakery a few yards up the road, and further choices within a short drive. There is a small paved terrace accessed by French door, which is pleasant to sit outside for meals. The bathroom is very spacious, clean, well equipped, and shower works well
Parking on-site proved a little awkward with the number of other car users staying in other apartments of Auszeit-im-Harz Haus 6. However, it was not impossible and didn't cause any real problem.

Highly recommended. The owners are nice and very helpful.”

It was the second time we stayed at this place. The stay was nice and comfortable. Our 8-year-old daughter was very excited about the place, especially the backyard open space and grilling/barbeque facility. The property is within walking distance of the main railway station and the city centre. Ideal for a small family. We would consider staying at this place again next time when we plan to visit Wernigerode.
Sometimes the WLAN signal dropped/was not available, especially in the evenings. Probably beyond the control of the property owner. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.
