Amazing location and chic apartment but bad parking and strange bathroom!”

The Apartment is at the corner of down town, you get out on the gate and right around the corner you have every store and pub you could wish for! Excellent location, comfortable bed, warm room and nice stile! In the evening and night its nice and quiet, away from the noise from downtown!
●The bathroom is like an aquarium, a BIG glass wall with curtins, it was stange to have such little privacy on the toilet and shower even if is just you and your partner! The shower is in the same area with the toilet... ●The apartment is located in an old istorical building, with a beautiful small inner courtyard, the problem is that the big entry door/gate that makes a terrible noise when people get in and out! In the morning that is your wake up call...it sounds like bombs are being dropt outside 🙉 ●In this time of the year there is alot of constructions going on in the area, so again...in the morning the pick-hammers and the drilling and the machinery will be the firts thing to hear at 7-8AM. ●Parking is very problematic! There are 3 or 4 garages close to the apartment, but it is very expensive ( around 5€ per hour), and if you find any parking spots around the center area, it is 1.50€\hour, which is clearly better, but if you want to forget about the car and just visit by foot, it will cost you aroun 20€\day on the street!The maximum period you could pay for is 3h, so every 3h you must renew your parking fee! If you forget, and you get a parking ticket, the penalty is around 25-30€... So if you want to forget about the car and you park it in the first day, and you just pay every 3 days by an app., then everything is ok (that is if you don't mind spending 20€ per day parking)! If you want to use your car everyday, it will be a challenge to find a parking spot on the street close to the apartment!

Anna met us personally at the apartment, the hostess with the mostest - so friendly and helpful. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything you need for a lovely stay in Budapest. Very central and easy to get to from the airport - just a simple bus ride.
Curtains don’t offer much privacy whilst in the bathroom. Maybe thicker curtains.

Stylish, elegant and quiet studio apartment in the heart of the city. The apartment was very clean and fresh even without switching on the air conditioning. The ceiling is very high, which gives much air around the bed. It’s carefully equipped with all you may need, great attention to details and cleanness. The owner Anna is extremely kind and helpful, and given that I wanted to prolong 1night my stay, but the apartment was already booked, she kindly took care of finding a 4 stars hotel near the apartment at an extremely cheap price. When I come back to Budapest, I will book again this apartment for sure!

Anna, the owner is very friendly and caring and you will feel great at her place. The location is perfect, everything is clean and cosy. I appreciated the little personal touches like a bottle of water in the room when I arrived or a little candy on my pillow. Anna also communicated with me during my stay and provided me with useful tips about Budapest.

The location is absolutely perfect!! Lots to do around the room, shops, restaurants and transportation links. Anna is friendly and caring, all instructions were given by her, questions answered.

Review of Heritage Apartments - A great stay”

The apartment is located in the centre of the city. It is great for visiting the most beautiful places in Budapest. It has also got a great design. It is clean and the owner is very polite and ready to help you. It has got a fridge which was very useful.
The bathroom tends to flood when you have a shower, but we weren't bothered by it. The greatest issue is the fact that the flat has got a strong unpleasant smell because it is located in an old building. The smell could be felt in our clothes after we left. We suggest using an air odoriser or repainting the room.

My overall experience good. The location is good the apartment is very sweet and cosy. Only we had difficulties explaining our questions to the host. Every time she understood us wrong, she replied with many weird explanations. For example, I asked for extra sheets or the folding sofa bed, and she lectured me about how 3 days were enough for the bed sheets in whích I didn't mention anything about changing existing bed sheets; I was only asking for sheets for the sofa bed. :)
There could be one more curtain to close the side window of the bathroom.

The city is stunning and we will definitely return but unfortunately not to this apt.”

Unfortunately upon arrival there was a strong smell of dampness in the apt and both the bedding and seating were damp and therefore not particularly comfortable to lie or sit on. When mentioned to the host I was told it was because it's in an old building and hadn't been occupied for 2 weeks so I should open a window and she suggested I should have paid 424 Euros a night to stay at the Marriot. I appreciated it was reasonably cheap and in a good location but the very least one would expect is to be able to sit and sleep on dry seating and bedding. If our stay had been any longer than 3 nights I think we would have looked elsewhere and asked for a full refund.

Fantastic location. Steps away from the Danube. Also quiet. Comes with a fridge and 3/4 bath. TV has a lot of channels in multiple languages, including a few in English. You can relax reasonably well on the couch.
There were a few small issues. Biggest is that the hot water lasts only about 10 minutes, so don't expect enough for two people. While there are glasses and utensils, there's nothing to wash them with; you'll have to improvise with the bathroom sink. There also aren't enough electrical outlets in certain places. You'll have to unplug the fridge to use the kettle. These don't really impact a short stay.
