Exceptional”
I highly recommend this place. It is literally a 2 min walk from Takayama central station from which you can go pretty much wherever you want. It's close to everything. The place and the sheets are fresh and clean, and the futons are really comfortable. The wifi is working fine too. The staff is great, welcoming, always available to answer your questions and recommend you activities or places to see. They also speak english, which makes communication easy. I would go back anytime.

A very Homey Place to Stay”
It's akin to staying at a Japanese homestay. The place is very homey. Very basic facilities but more than good enough for a 3 nights stay. You can use the kitchen and fridge but you need to clean up after that. The owner and family, together with the staff, is very friendly and accommodating. The place is located in between the train station (bus station is just next to it) and the Takayama old town district. Very easy to look out for this place. Quaint and prefect for a relaxing get away rest from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

Location is perfect!! 5 minutes walking from Takayama station. Family mart is also nearby. The owner was very kind and friendly. He gave us a map and suggested many places to visit in the city. Room and bed are clean but bathroom needs some improvement. It could be cleaner.

The location is very good, which is very next to the bus shop so it can avoid the noise, but it is super easy to find and not far away from the bus stop. Staffs are very nice, the environment is very clean. Highly recommended!!!

This hotel is suiteable for backpackage or teenager who want to save money. There are 2 floors without elevator so not fit with elder. I feels that the price is a bit expensive for this type of the room. However, the host has a good service mind.

A delicious guesthouse”
The guesthouse is situated in a very good position, near the station and only fee minutes from the old part of the town. We slept in the japanese style private room, and we absolutely recommend it, it’s spacious, clean and quiet. The shared bathrooms are always very clean. The owners are very kind, and they will help you in everything you need.

It was a very nice hotel”
I stayed here for one night from Fukuoka at the beginning of the year. The location is close to the station and they were able to hold my luggage before check-in, making it very comfortable to explore Takayama. The facilities were clean, including the toilet, shower, and sink. The room had air conditioning and heating, and the bedding was not thin like in other guesthouses, so I was able to sleep well at night. Above all, the owner is friendly and kind, making it a recommended accommodation for those who are new to guesthouses. The coffee provided in the morning was also delicious. I would like to stay here again when I visit Takayama.

予約がとれたらいつも泊まる宿です。 風呂場が一つしかないのが唯一の欠点。 英語喋れたら英語圏のお客さんと喋れるアットホームな雰囲気がありますが、日本語しか出来なくても日本人と会話ができます。 二号店にカフェバーを併設するそうなんで非常に楽しみ。
