Great location right opposite Daimaru and close to many big shopping malls! Right next to Osaka station so traveling around is very convenient too, not to mention the great restaurants around. The hotel itself is very clean and has a great breakfast selection. Service is inpeccable!

Too notch ”
You cannot ask for a better location! Hilton hotel is right next to several major department stores and major malls. Basically shopping at your doorstep. The large station Osaka Umeda is also within 5 mins walk so you can travel to nearby regions like Kyoto with ease. Lovely breakfast choice in buffet style.

Just alright. ”
With the price I expected more of Hilton. The rooms though was clean, it need a little revamp. Not a fan of the bathroom with the half panel glass covering the bath tub, water tend to spill all over the bathroom. The staff were helpful and great location though. Not too sure it’s worth every penny.

Silly City Tax”
So when Agoda quotes you a price, apparently it doesn’t include Osaka city tax so your bill from Agoda is not all inclusive. I guess this not great review is in part due to Agoda. This hotel is old and showing it. Unlike other higher end hotels, Hilton doesn’t have subway or street side signs showing you where to go. Staff was ok, but not up to par with other Japanese hotels at this price point. Cafe isn’t open at 9am on Sunday and pool hours are very restricted.

Check in the rooms that was dusty. We called the staff to inform, was told that they will arranged for another room for us. The second room we changed was worst and third not any better. The fourth was dusty too. I don’t have a sensitive nose, but to trigger it, you can imagine how dusty the rooms was. We changed total 4 different rooms, and we were mad exhausted with kids that needs milk and time for bed. This drama lasted around 2hours, and we cant even rest at 10pm! And the staff asked me to check all the rooms, since when it has become a guests job to check if your room were clean?? Am I paid to check? Definitely not! To pay for this rate, am definitely not going to stay at this hotel anymore despite it locations. There are many others hotel nearby.

Exceptional service and a memorable stay”
There were three of us on this trip: a 60-year old, a 30-year old and a 1.5-year old. With this combination, you could imagine how difficult it would be to arrange everything, including transport, accommodation and meals. But Hilton Osaka made everything just right for us. The location is simply unbeatable. To save the hassle of climbing up and down the escalators in the railway system, we took the airport bus and it proved to be the right choice. The airport bus stopped right opposite Hilton Osaka and we came to know how valuable the location is. With Osaka station being a 5-min walk for 1.5 yo and 60 yo, we can’t ask for anything better in terms of location. On top of that, there are 3 malls surrounding the hotel. Basically shopping and eating were no longer an issue. (Remember to check out the basement level supermarket and Japanese sweets in the malls. Ideal location for buying souvenirs.) The hotel restaurant offers superb dining experience at a reasonable price. They also have a very grand bakery offering fresh bread and nicely brewed coffee. The surprise was that we were served by a charismatic and charming guy at the lobby. Not only did he offer information about transport and visiting places, he also sent a plate of chocolate with a handmade card to our room while we were out to congratulate my mum on her 60th birthday. On the last night of our stay, he even slipped the airport bus schedule through our door. The thoughtfulness is truly heart-warming and all these made the stay at Hilton Osaka very very memorable. Cleanliness (esp in the bathroom) is one ofy top concerns and I can reassure you that Hilton Osaka is maintaining a very high standard in this regard. The room is very well maintained and it feels new. The view out the window is amazing. It’s the kind of Osaka view you would need to feel that you are in Osaka. What more can one ask for a HKD1400 booking in early June? Will definitely go back again in my next visit to Osaka.

Incredible 5-star Hotel”
Great location: It's location opposite to JR Osaka Station. There're many shopping malls and restaurants around. You can take Kansai Airport Limousine to Herbis Osaka Hotel which is just 4-5 mins walk to Hilton Hotel. If time matches, this Limousine provides drop off / pick up point at Hilton 4-5 times per day. High standard facilities: The room is relatively big as compared with other hotels in Japan. All facilities are well-equipped and in good condition. The room is clean and tidy. Best customer service: The staff are helpful and efficient. They are willing to offer help whenever and whatever you want. All of them can speak good English. In sum, my family is satisfied with our stay in Hilton.

Hilton Osaka on Typhoon day”
We were at Hilton on the day that Super Typhoon Trami attacked Osaka. Umeda area was totally a ghost town. Every shop, convenient store and restaurant were not open, even JR trains. But Hilton's facilities were all on their duties like nothing happen! Thank you for taking care us on that kind of day. Great location, clean room, polite & supportive customer service, and the restaurants are all great though! We will definitely come again if we have any chance to be in Osaka.

Hilton Osaka Experience”
Executive room rate has already included the breakfast but Agoda's room booking receipt indicated the otherwise. Hilton Osaka is quite close to JR Osaka Station. If you know the way, there is no need to get up to the streets from the JR station to the hotel. Although the room rate is higher than most other hotels in Osaka, the price is worthwhile.

We was there on the Typhoon day”
Almost every department store, restaurants and shops in Osaka were closed on that day due to the Typhoon, and we have no place to go. Hilton Osaka's service team were fully on duty. Our friends were at another hotel nearby which stop all service, no food, no service staffs. So they escaped to Hilton, had launch and dinner with us, watching the strong windy from inside the comfy hotel until it weakened. The staff also kindly gave us information about the current situation and also advised what to do during that dangerous time. Thank you so much Hilton. We feel so safe and comfy with you.

Superb location, wonderful food,”
My time at the Hilton was a joyful. Never been a fan of a big hotel, however I have found this hotel to be an exception. As I was travelling to many cities in Japan, staying in a hotel next to a train station was somewhat make sense, and this hotel is basically right next to Osaka station. Breakfast was lovely, many selections and they were all great. Fitness facility was outstanding (the best I have found yet). Having a great restaurant up at the top floor was a big plus for anyone who fancy staying in. The only let down for me was the staff performance. There was nothing wrong but the level of services and the welcomeness was not as high as any other places I went to in Japan. (Normally I would give 10/10 for any hotels in Japan, but for this Hilton, maybe a 7 or 8/10).

It's a Hilton! I'm not always a 5-star hotel sort of person. But sometimes if the price or the occasion is right.... It's in a great location with respect to Osaka station. The amenities are top notch. Very comfortable beds and bedding. I don't know why exactly, but things conspired that the room rate was lower than several surrounding 4-star hotels on the dates of our stay - so why wouldn't you treat yourself?
