The hotel was nice and clean and the location is super! I highly recommend it!”
The room is very clean. I recommend going for the room with terrace. The room is simple but it has all you need. There is super market that opens 24hrs and a cafe with breakfast just right next to the hotel. The staff at the front desk is friendly and speaks great English. They use key all instead of actual room key which is super super convenient (just need to be careful not to let your phone die). The location is very good, metro and airport bus are both within walking distance. I cannot think of anything that needs to be improved. I would definitely come back the next time I visit Barcelona!

Beautiful place to stay.”
We were in Barcelona for 4 days and we loved it. The Hostal is near bus stations (but we mostly walked everywhere), attractions, great neighbourhood. To enter the building you need to install an app after you do the check-in. You will use it for the room, too. The room we stayed in had a terrace with a view in a quiet park and we enjoyed it. The bathroom was top notch, the cleaning service came in every day and changed our towels. We also had an electric teapot and mini-fridge in our room. The single problem we encountered was that the walls were too thin, one morning I woke up from the alarm in the other room. Overall, it didn't bother us so much because we were out most of the time. If we'll ever come again to Barcelona, we would love to stay again in this place.

Nice staffs, clean room, balcony”
Staff are very helpful! I asked something to the receptionist which is tbh beyond her scope(Im asking about stamps). She called her dad to help me 😂 I appreciate it very much. The housekeeping does a great job too. Location wise, theres a lot of restaurants around. Walking distance from most of the toursit spots. I would definitely go back again!

Good location and nice room”
We chose the hotel because of the location and based on the reviews, and it was right. Nice staff, clean room, with a patio, quite room. We traveled with my daughters 2 and 4 and it was perfect. Close to metro and buses. I would recommend stay there and I will be back.

Great location and very clean”
Right next to a metro, and a few minutes to the next. 15 minutes and you are on La Rambla! Airport bus drop is a few minutes away. The room and bathroom was spotless. Great aircon and nice having a balcony. Would definitely recommend!

Great location”
The hotel is on the main road and is very close to the Urgell metro station. There is also a bus stop a few steps away. There are lots of convenience stores close by so it’s very easy to get small Items and water. It’s walking distance to La Rambla and La Boqueria on one side and Casa Batlló and Passeig de Gracia and Casa Mila on the other side. The staff are friendly. The room was clean and modern. Our bathroom was huge. There is a vendo machine for water and a microwave in case you need to heat your food. There is also free coffee at the reception area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Highly recommended!

Cute Room with Great Location”
We enjoyed our stay at Hostal Live. The location is quite central and our room came with a cute balcony next to the Gran Via which could get quite busy but with the doors closed, it wasn’t as noisy. The accommodation was walking distance to so many restaurants and bars in Eixample. The staff were really friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing - clean, friendly and great location ”
Lovely place! The staff were really friendly and helpful and the place is clean and well managed. It’s actually far better than a so-called 4* hotel down the road with ‘sun’ in the name (which was appalling, Agoda). I will definitely be coming back to this hotel! :)

Great place to stay near everything”
The location was great. It was near the metro station and several bus stops, which is also just near everything you need to see in barcelona. It's also near the aireobus bus stop which is a plus. The staff was kind and patient. I especially want to thank Michelle, who helped me print out my boarding pass and helped me set up the key app for my room :)) would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional”
First, the staff is very very nice and always willing to help. I booked a room and thought it has a balcony because on every picture you saw that the room has one. My room hasnt one. So i complain that i thought that i booked a room with balcony and the staff change the room for me. So i had 3 of 4 nights a room with balcony. So if you want a room with a balcony better write it in your booking request. The place is near to everything and in the middle of the city. The staff cleaned every day my room. The second room was not 100% clean but for me nothing to complain. All in all a nice place with friendly staff and a good price.

Great location ”
The Hostel was in great location (aprx 10-12min walk from pl. Catalunya). There was cleaning service provided every day, however no bedsheets changed in 9 days and honestly it was ok but not 'shining' . The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we have asked. We really enjoyed our stay. And it was definitely VFM compared to what's available in the city.
