The room is basic but very tidy and clean. Enough for two persons. Location is just Infront Placa De Sans metro and bus station. So basically you can go to any part of the city in a short time. Location is lively and with lots of bars and cafes.

Hostal Sans was quite a surprise! Location was nice, a short walk from the nearest Metro station. Community is pretty safe, I believe there is a primary school nearby. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Very good place to stay in Barca. Easy Metro to City Centre. 2 Metro lines within 5 mins walk. Lots of restaurants and bars very close. Easy 10 min walk from Barcelona Sants Train Station. Comfortable basic accommodation. Coffee machine in Cafeteria area, but no tea or hot water to make your own.

Good clean place to stay near Sants Estación. Friendly and helpful staff. Small room size but large enough if you choose a big room for 2 adults with bicycles in the room. And a lift to facilitate access. Sadly breakfast was not available but lots of choice locally.

More of a hotel than hostel”
I booked mainly because of price and location to the train station but was disappointed that there was not the typical facilities and social atmosphere you would expect at a hostel. There is no kitchen available and no fridges so we were not able to cook or even keep anything cold. The cafeteria/breakfast was still closed due to Covid but there is no sign of Covid left in Barcelona.

I had a bicycle accident and cut my knee, and I had put a bandage on. However still leaked on the sheets and after the clean was done the reused the sheets with blood on it, and without a new bath towel or hand towel. Overall that was the only let down

Good Stay In Barcelona”
The Hostal is centrally situated and adjacent to a Red Line subway station (60M) and a major Train Station (Barcelona Sants 500 M). There are many restaurants, cafes and retail outlets nearby. It felt like a very safe neighbourhood. The staff were excellent, helping us with directions and suggestions for eating. The room was of average size, clean and had all the basic necessities, including hot showers, windows that opened, soap, towels & linens, elevator and stairs plus a small TV. We passed on the breakfast buffet and found better deals in the neighbourhood. Good stay. Would stay here again.

Hostal Sans is a good place if you are poor and you are spending 1 day or two in Barcelona, because it is well located, you have a clean bed, lavatory in your room. The toilets and shower are shared for all people of the same floor, so not very convenient, add to this when you wake up in the morning and you want go to the toilet you have to cross all the hallway in your sleeping jammies not very private at all...

We stayed at Hostal Sans for 5 nights, it was really pleasant. We had a room with double bed, bathroom and balcony, on the 4th floor. The room is small but even more than enought, it is clean, as well as the bathroom. There is a wardrobe on the room, 2 bedtables, a kind of shelf, a chair and a desk, there is very nice view from the balcony to the montains of Barcelona. The bathroom is also small, but there is everything what you need, they provide towels and change them every day if you want. There is aircondition as well in the room and a small TV. The receptionists are very kind, they speak english all, except one of them. :) We had no issue at all along our whole stay. They even helped us to print out online tickets. There is also a cafeteria on the 0 floor, with computer-internet, food-drink automates, TV, chairs, etc. That could be really good for bigger groups to get together. All in all we were satistied, even for the money we payed. (The only thing we missed is a fridge, that would have been helpful sometimes.)

A hotel stragically located next to Placa de Sants metro station from where we can have access to many places of interest all by train. (The passenger is charged per entry basis irrespective of the number of stations passed.) These places include Sagrada Familia; Park Guell(Lesseps Station); La Ramblas (Catalunya Station); The Royal Palace(Espanya Station); Ciutadell Park (Ciutadella Vila Olimpica)and The Habour(Station Drassanes). The Sants Barcelona Main Station which is the starting point of the high-speed RENFE AV train to Madrid and Malaga,is just within walking distance from the hotel and I really enjoyed the scenery of the countryside as I travelled from Barcelona to Madrid!The room of the hotel is quite small, but very clean bacause of daily house-keeping. The staff are very friendly though some do not speak English.The cafeteria next door is a good place to have coffee and beer and the Manager is extremely jovial!

We chose Hostal Sans to see another part of Barcelona, after staying in Barcelona Central at the start of our three week trip. This no frills location was perfect for a full day walk through the Mont Juic area ending at the Mont Juic Castle overlooking the Barcelona Harbor.
