Great location near main road with bus stops but I just walked most places. Station not very far to get to out of the way spots like arashiyama, (really liked that area of Kyoto). Coin laundry was useful and the shower was large sized. Also has a cafe sold an amazing seasonal cheesecake!

Thank you for staying with us at HOSTEL NINIROOM and for your warm review! NINIROOM's closest station, Jingu-marutramachi Station, is only a 4 minute walk away. Not only to Arashiyama area but also to Gion, Hushimiinari, Ginkakuji, and Tofukuji, You can get simple ways to get there. Our area is very convenient for sight-seeing! Our cafe is opened everyday, so we are looking forward to welcoming you in Kyoto again.
Great hostel, wonderful location”
This is a beautifully-designed hostel that makes you feel like you're not staying in a hostel. The dorm space is spacious & really clean. I like the lounge area- nice area to chill & read a book. Location is really good. Short walk from Exit 4 of Jingu Marutamachi station. 2 stops away from Gion. About 15-20mins walk to Imperial Palace. And there are direct buses nearby to Kinkakuji, Ginkakuji and Kyoto station. Special thanks to Sakura for your help- appreciate it. Price is a bit expensive but that is due to the Golden Week. For travellers with luggage, please note that there is no lift so if you get the 3rd floor, you'll really need to lug your bags up.

Thank you for staying with us at HOSTEL NINIROOM and for your warm review.The lounge/cafe on the 1st floor is also a great place to relax other than your room.Hostel. NINIROOM is located in a relaxed local area surrounded with lots of green. An early mornning walk around the neighborhood, followed by a healthy breakfast is highly recommended! We apologize for the inconvenience. There's no elevator, just a lift that goes up to the 2nd floor. We'd be happy to carry your luggage with the lift, as well as help out bring them up the stairs, so please feel free to ask us next time.

Super-helpful staff. Good location. Nice cosy cafe and communal area. Breakfast was reasonably priced, healthy, and yummy. Hired a hostel bike and toured the area, which made it easier to see the sights. Only negatives: Bedroom was very small; our cases had to remain upright so we could negotiate moving in and out of the room...and sound insulation was an issue. But all in all, the bed was cosy, facilities clean, and I would recommend and stay again.

NINIROOM has been made by rennovating a priniting company's office buliding, and due to the building's structure, some noise can be heard through the walls. We offer earplugs for free at the reception. Next time Please use it.We will make sure to revise our check-in guidance and explain in detail about the room keys.We will once again reflect on our guests' feedback and work on improving conditions so we can offer each of our guests with a memorable stay.

Mon copain et moi avons séjourné trois nuits au Niniroom. Nous avons adoré notre expérience! Les employés du Niniroom sont très accueillants et disponibles pour offrir des conseils. La location est également bonne. À seulement quelques rues, vous trouverez une entrée de métro ainsi que plusieurs arrêts d'autobus, qui permettent notamment de se rendre aisément au Fushimi Inari-Taisha. De plus, il est possible de se déplacer facilement à pieds vers le sublime quartier Pontocho (environ 20-30 minutes de marche). Tout comme dans plusieurs auberges japonaises, la chambre était très petite. Le coût des serviettes et des boissons à l'accueil était également assez dispendieux. Somme toute, je recommande cette auberge sans hésiter!

スタッフがとても親切でしたし、料金もとても手ごろでよかったです。 トイレやシャワーも清潔でよかったです。 ただ、寝ところは、木のパネルの壁になっているので、 見た目がちょっと清潔感が欠けているかもしれません。 ラウンジはとてもおしゃれで落ち着きます。 またレピートすると思います。どうもありがとうございました！

大晦日には年越しそばを振舞って下さいました。また、カウントダウンや振る舞い酒もあったようです。私たちは寝てしまいましたが。 繁華街にも近く、立地は良かったです。 スタッフの方がとてもフレンドリーで、小学生を連れていましたが、快適に過ごせました。

前回、初めてドミトリーに宿泊し、こちらを利用させていただきました。少し不安がありましたが、スタッフの方の感じがよく、安心して宿泊できたので、2回目も利用させていただきました。 全体的に、デザインが素敵です。トイレ、シャワールームも清潔で使いやすいです。 さすがに同じ部屋の方の音はよく聞こえましたが、上下の振動音がなかったので、ぐっすり眠れました。 2回目はバスルームも使わせていただきました。こちらもとってもオシャレで素敵。でも、室内が寒いので、暖かい時に使うのがよさそうです。 500円で食べられる朝食もおいしかったです。 また利用させていただきます。
