I was traveling alone and booked hostel Nuremberg. The guy greeted me while I was at the front door, and because I could only understand English. The host slowly explained everything to me. I really appreciate that!! The room was a single bed with shared bathroom around the corner, the sheets were nice and clean. This was totally a great experience in Nuremberg. 💫

Although the general location of the hostel was good (next to subway, and only 1 stop away from old city), I did not feel safe here. A street away neighborhood is safe and friendly with shops and cafes, but the hostel is on a street lined with closed, unmarked doors, strip clubs, and bars that you cannot see into from the street. In the evening, groups of stern men stand around, making it feel unsafe. This feeling is made worse by the fact that there are only staff available at the exact check-in time. Otherwise, the desk is unattended. If something were to happen, there would be no place to turn for help. Although smoking is not allowed in the rooms and guests are asked to smoke outside of the hostel, this apparently does not apply to the staff, who apparently smoke heavily inside. The cigarette smoke is even in the far end of the corridor on the floors above. Heavy use of air fresheners, perhaps to cover the smell of the smoke. Do not go here is cigarette smoke bothers you.

Wir haben uns in dem Hostel sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Das Ein- und Auschecken war sehr unkompliziert, auch nach 21 Uhr. Die Telefonnummer im Internet war nicht korrekt, soll aber verbessert werden. Von der Unterkunft aus ist man sehr schnell in der Stadtmitte. Es befinden sich drei Pubs in der Nähe, von denen zwei sehr gemütlich sind. In mindestens einem findet wöchentlich(?) eine Session mit sehr freundlichen und musikalischen Menschen statt. Den Dritten haben wir nicht besucht. Ebenfalls nahegelegen ist das Rotlichviertel, das uns aber nicht gestört hat. Man kann es umgehen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Выбрали этот отель и остались очень довольны.Отель расположен в центре старого города,все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности.В номере очень чисто и есть все необходимое.Сурем,который нас встречал на ресепшине,очень позитивный и доброжелательный человек.Если снова окажемся в Нюрнберге,то будем бронировать этот отель.

Mycket otrevlig personal och i princip ingen bemanning. ”
När vi checkade ut knackade vi på för det var låst (klockan halv nio en måndag). Han som öppnade skrek och gormade och tyckte vi var idioter för, för han hade tydligen ett sovande barn där! I foajén... En enda handduk på rummet och inte en skymt av personal på fyra dagar.
