Excellent staff who are very helpful. They offered us a free lift to our bus station when we left and helped us print a ski coupon. Location is great at about 2-3 minutes walk from Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Hotel provides free storage for our ski gears (not fully secured though). Overall great value considering that breakfast and use of the hotel's hot spring are included in the price.

Good place to stay for skiing in Hakuba Goryu”
Location is excellent with 3 minutes to Escal Plaza (Ski field base and bus stop). Hotel is clean and with adequate warmth in the room. However, the toilet inside the room is weirdly designed that barely squeeze a person in and then without any space. Staff is friendly willing to help but with limited English and just sometimes no staff at the front desk. Overall it is worth to stay here for a skiing trip.

Pros. Authentic Japanese meals. Great breakfast both western & Asian. Fantastic sauna & Onsen. Friendly staff. Handy to bars/ restaurants in area. Across the road from Escal Plaza and shi lifts. Very warm room. Cons. Very limited English speaking staff. Had to walk from bus drop off 2km. But dropped off other way. Room 204-208 very tight toilet in room. ( installed in old wardrobe.) tall? Forget it. Beds VERY hard. With only duvets. No top sheet. No bar. Bus contentions difficult in Goryu compared with Happo township. Eg 2 hrs to Cortina on bus.& only one connection. If your dropped off by highway bus cross the Rd and wait for small ‘Escal plaza ‘ bus coming from other direction.

A short Hakuba break”
Location is split deal. On the one hand, it’s ideal for the slopes and lifts, best there is. Otherwise, it is at the quiet end of Hakuba and there are limited food or entertainment options and the place closes before 10pm. The hotel staff were great albeit with quite limited English. The hotel is understaffed and it shows. Food at the hotel is average. The rooms are basic, no frills style and fine if just sleeping. The overall cleanliness of the hotel in the public areas is unacceptable. Almost all surfaces were badly in need of dusting and cleaning properly. To conclude, it is an adequate accommodation if you’re late in booking or on a tight budget.

白馬五竜スキー場のスキーセンターである五竜エスカルプラザに至近距離。家族４人で十分な広さの和室でした。食事はシンプルながら美味しかったです。温泉がとても良く露天風呂もあって良かったです。

同雪場真係好近，但冇車就真係麻煩d , shuttle bus 去escal plaza 既車唔多，仲要好早book . 冇為意，2條友係冰天雪地拖住行李行左20幾分鐘。離開既時候，因為book 唔到的士，酒店好好人咁車左我地去五龍車站上車。 Dinner ok 唔錯，早餐係傳統日式食物 房間原來冇private toilet ,book 果陣冇注意到，真心唔方便，大浴場10點後就close ,意味住10點後冇得沖涼。其實真係非常唔方便，唔岩想滑夜雪既朋友 Overall , staff is very nice and good . 我地都玩得開心
