Good location. Twin room but the bed is bigger than single bed. Good quality mattress. The room has a good quality massage chair Fujiiryoki brand which i love it so much. There are variety of shampoo and conditioner to choose from and the coffer maker for guests at the front. The only weak point is the room is not that soundproof as we heard the activity on the road all night and we cant sleep well. The cross road to the station always has a short melody once it is green light and it keep ringing all day and night.

As we travel budget Abest Hotel was perfect. We don’t expect the Hilton so everything was satisfying. Not too modern but also not too old. Just what we looked for.

Free hot drinks from the machine on the ground floor! Rooms have massage chair. Water pressure from the shower head is very high. Breakfast buffet is good. Sockets are few.

The place is right next to the station, A bit out dated but the price is good. Free coffee/chocolate, massage chair and there breakfast was better then a hotel we stayed in the night before that was twice the price. For just one night was good value and easy access to railway to get to monkey park.

It is not my next choice”
Actually its location is very good, in front of the Nagano station, and it is surrounded by lots of good restaurants and shopping centres. However, the experience of staying at room is not as good as our expectation, room is very tiny as usual in Japan, but we cannot adjust air con in the room at all. We had to open windows whole night otherwise we could not sleep because the room was too hot.

Great location. For the price, basic amenities. There is a massage chair in every room. Supermarket just across hotel and we look forward to discounted sashimi and sushi in the evening. The best ramen shop, Miso ya, is just round the corner

Close to Nagano Station”
The hotel is across the nagano station. The room and funitures are old. You cannot control the temperature of the heater. I had to turn heater on and off all night because it was so hot although you just turn on the lowest. Font desk was good. You can leave your luggages at the font desk after check out. There are so many restaurants and depsrtment stores around the hotel. I think the heater was my big concern.

Location is the best thing about this hotel! It’s immediately across the street from JR Nagano station, Zenkoji exit. You can’t miss it. VERY NEAR Don Quijote, a shopping mall, supermarket and restaurants! It’s strategically placed and very easy to find. The downside is the hotel looks old and creepy. The room is dark and I feel like I am in a horror movie. I was a bit scared. Or maybe I was expecting it to be comparable to other well-lit budget. Controlling the temperature in the room was terrible! I stayed during late winter so it is cold but the lowest setting on the “air conditioner” is too hot. I literally woke up sweating. Choose between freezing or feeling like you’re in a steam room. There is no in between. I can only imagine what it would be like during the summer. I also found 1 small cockroach crawling near the bed. This is the first time this has happened to me in a japanese hotel. The good thing is, the receptionists were nice and accommodating. They let me transfer to a new room. The bathroom looks aged as well. The plus side, is the top most floor which has 3 free chair massagers, manga library and free coffee/tea/hot chocolate. For the price I paid, not really worth it. Again, can’t emphasize how convenient the location is. Then again, there might be better hotels around it. Maybe I will try another hotel near the area next time.

It’s cheap and the location was perfect, right in front of Nagano station. However, the room is a bit old. Also You need to manually adjust the shower to get the right temperature.

Great location with good amenities”
We stayed 3 nights at Abest. Location is just across the Nagano station. The twin room comes with a massage chair which was simply wonderful after a hard day out hiking. They even have 3 professional massage chairs on the 10th floor which we enjoyed very much. Wide range of shampoo to choose from at the reception. Reception also has a coffee machine which you can make coffee FOC. There is a good izakaya (Yoro no taki) at grd floor that serves great food at good value. Will definitely stay here again

Abest is best for location”
The hotel is just across from the Nagano Station. Getting anywhere is so convenient. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Had a most enjoyable time sitting in the massage chair after a whole day of walking and sightseeing. Abest is BEST!!
