Positive: Excellent Price/Value rate (payed around 200'000IDR/night). Very clean hotel and rooms. Clean simple toilets. Internet available, but connectivity/speed moderate. Kinky colourful design. Great support from very friendly staff (ride to bus station/airport, bus booking with METRO-Bus, providing contact person details for my next stop over in Rantepao). Hotel location in city centre, walking distance to Fort Rotterdam and Losari Beach. Negativ: Breakfast is just coffee/tea and toast with butter and jam - no typical Indonesian breakfast. Provided City map could be improved. Location area safe, but a bit rough. My room had a view to the backyard. Summary: ideal place for a stop-over, but nothing for longer holidays in Makassar. Good for backpackers and business ppl, but wrong for honeymoon ppl.

The location is ideal for seeing the main attractions in Makassar - within walking distance to the Fort, the beach area and the famous "Coto Makassar". Rooms are well equipped and the staff goes out of there way to ensure your stay is pleasant.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Would totally recommend staying here! Staff will arrange cars and prices if you ask, rooms are tidy and clean. Bathroom is very nice. Restaurant wasnt finished yet when we were there but it'll probably be very good.

Basic hotel room, but more than enough for the price we've paid. The hotel is clean, and the area is not noisy. Staff is happy to help. I recommend this hotel to all those who don't need a fancy sheraton style hotel.

fine place on your way somewhere else”

i stayed here on my way to Toraja (the hotel arranged my ticket and taxi to the bus - super helpful) and it was the perfect place for one night in the rain in a city I didn't care to explore. ate alright food in the restaurant, wifi didn't work for me but I zoned out for like three hours to some Lars Von trier movie on some indo channel and it was bliss. I then locked myself in the bathroom in the morning because ended up accidentally ripping the door handle off in a naked panic trying to get out. and there was no hot water. which was depressing before heading to a place with cold bucket showers. and then my cab driver hit a motorbike on the way to the bus. so I slept fine, but really the whole thing was a cluster. but I'm sure none of that will happen to you and the staff was wonderfully helpful and the place is practically brand new. so. ya know. it's fine.

Good for a quick stopover”

About the cheapest I could find for a solo traveller. The minibus from the airport stops 5 minutes walk away. Clean, spacious room with good bathroom. TV with lots of channels. Breakfast Asian, rice and noodles with bread and a sandwich toaster. Pleasant staff.

A good choice”

The staff here were great. With their broken English and my appalling Indonesian, all questions were answered. They even had beer in the fridge! Short walk to a shuttle bus to the airport as well.

Staff speaks hatdly any English”

Although the hotel was quite ok, except for the poor breakfast, staff speaks hardly any english and us not motivated.

Nice clean and spacious rooms that were much nicer than the exterior deco. Was happy enough with what greeted me when I checked in after flying into markassar around 9pm, take a shower n get a good night's rest

Fue corta, pero los dos chicos que estaban no fueron capaces de indicarnos nada sobre los autobuses q salian hacia Rantepao. El chico q nos llevo a la habitacion, no sabia donde estaba la habitacion, aparte necesitabamos una cama extra q no estaba puesta y le tuvimos q ayudar a hacet la cama, xq sino estamos todavia alli. Cuando nos despertamos, fuimos a desayunar y solo nos dieron opcion a comer Nasi Goreng, a pesar de que habia mantequilla y mermelada no fueron capaces de tostarnos una rebanada de pan, aparte q nisiquiera nos dieron huevo (q siempre hay). Al de recepcion le tuvimos q poner horas de cuando tenia q llamar a un taxi, y la hora a la q tenia q estar el taxi en la puerta. SON UN DESASTRE! Se bloquean cuando algo se sale de su linea.
