We had a twin room. The hotel is an easy walk to the old city. The staff were friendly and spoke good English (thank you) and the room was very comfortable. The only downer is the lack of parking on site. Dresden itself was fantastic.

Best choice for your stay in Dresden”
We really enjoyed our stay in Am Terassenufer hotel because all of hotel staff we met were very friendly and said "Guten Tag/Morgen" with smile every morning. Because this hotel is located only 10 minutes walk from historical area(Frauen church, etc) and 15 minutes walk from Semperoper. And adding to that, Satureday morning we could easily get to Saturday market at Albert bridge.

4 stars hotel?!”
I would say, that the hotel has 4 stars, I was pretty disappointed. First of all, they don't have their own car park. So you have to park your car on the street side near of the hotel. The room was ok, but sadly so dusty. Also.. if you have dust allergy, it would be your nightmare to stay in this hotel. You will get only one small and thin pillow, so don't forget to ask extra pillow (u can also call receptionist at 1 am, and they will give you the extra pillow with friendly smile) They don't have air cond, but if you're living in Germany, it will be no prob for you. The positive things of this hotel maybe its position (close to the old city, only 15 mins walk to frauenkirche) and their personals, they were so friendly and so attentive. I'm sure that I will come back to Dresden, but I'm not sure if I would stay in this hotel for my second time.

very good location. clean and good rooms. there is district supermarket shop near (2 mins walking). it's definetely cheaper, then pay 8 euros for breackfast. the cheapest way to park your car - the street near the hotel, 3 euro per 24 hours.

All went smoothly, from check-in to check-out. Taxi from main train station to the hotel cost just under $10 euros; under a ten-minute drive. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main city attractions. It would be more convenient to stay within the city centre, if visiting the main sites is your focus, but weekend rates for most of those hotels are high. There's a supermarket within a 5-min walk from the hotel.

Very good location and good value for money”
The location is very good as you can reach the city center in 5 minutes walking. There is no AC in the room, just a ventilator. There is a mini-bar in the room. The room is clean althought the aspect of everything seem a little bit old. There is no parking but it's easy to park in the street with the cost of 3euros per 24h.

Perfekt für einen Dresden-Besuch”
Die Lage des Hotels, direkt an der Carola Brücke und 5 min von der Altstadt entfernt, ist perfekt. Das Frühstück war gut und auch das Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Man könnte vielleicht die Duschvorhänge durch Glas-Schiebetüren ersetzen, damit einem beim Duschen nicht der Vorhang irgendwo dranklebt ;) ... das würde einem ein hygienischeres Gefühl geben. Nicht so gut war das Abendessen im hoteleigenen Restaurant. Dort passte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht. Kaninchenkeule mit Rosenkohl und Semmelklößen: die Portionen sehr klein, sowohl vom Fleisch, als auch von phänomenalen 5 Rosenköhlchen her. Leider war auch die Soße seitens Konsistenz (viel zu wässrig) + Geschmack nichts. Dies betraf auch die Soße beim Sauerbraten. Aber ansonsten würden wir das Hotel weiterempfehlen, man kann ja auch woanders essen, oder einfach ein anderes Essen wählen ;)

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, um Dresden ohne Auto zu erkunden. Eine der Empfangsdamen war derart unfreundlich und erschreckend zurechtweisend, dass ich das Hotel niemandem empfehlen kann.

Super Lage direkt an der Innenstadt mit schönem Blick auf die Stadt. Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Parken an den Straßen in der Umgebung , oder kostenpflichtig an der Elbe. Schönes großes Zimmer. Frühstück 11 €, aber durchaus gut für den Preis!

nur öffentliche Parkplätze, sehr schwierig etwas in der Nähe zu finden es ist völlig in Ordnung das es ein Nichtraucherhotel ist. jedoch ist nicht nachvollziehbar, weshalb man nicht im Aussenbereich ( Hotelterrasse) zum Kaffee rauchen darf. Man kommt sich vor wie ein Aussätziger !!!! Deshalb werden wir dieses Hotel sicher nicht wieder buchen.

unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption”
Im Buchungsprofil wurde ein PKW Parkplatz angefragt. Beim Einchecken teilte mir die Dame an der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich mit, dass es an diesem Hotel überhaupt keine Parkplätze gibt. Und wenn mir die Auskunft nicht gefällt, kann ich mich ja bei Agoda beschweren! Nochmals höflich nachgefragt, ob Sie denn wenigstens einen Tipp hat, wo man das Auto parken kann. "Da müssen Sie halt mal herumfahren ob Sie in einer Nebenstrasse was finden" , war die unfreundliche Antwort.
