Opposite the Burg Katz castle on the River Rhine, Hotel an der Fähre provides free Wi-Fi and free parking. Sankt Goar’s Train Station and Ferry Port are a 3-minute walk away. Individually furnished rooms are offered at the hotel. Some rooms feature private bathrooms, and some have use of shared bathrooms. Fantastic location n overlooking the river ”
This is areally pretty and super central little hotel. Walk or cycle to everything lovely lady running the hotel and nice breakfast too. Not 24 reception so just check checkin times. Some rooms overlook the river. Mine was on the side and fairly basic furnishings but comfy n clean. I liked it and happily would stay again.

Alessya was very friendly and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible and meet all our needs. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. There was a good variety of fresh choices and Alessya even cooked us eggs the way we like them. The room was comfortable and large with a beautiful view of the Rhine. We enjoyed the interesting decor of the hotel - from the suit of armor in the dining room to the viola shaped wine rack on the second floor landing. We were able to rent bicycles from the hotel and spent one day riding north and another day riding south on the bike path along the Rhine, stopping at the small towns along the way. We took the train back to St Goar the first day and took a boat cruise back the second day. Out of 3 weeks in Europe, this was one of our favorite stops.

The guy was very friendly, he speaks good English. The room was old country style with a bath tube, everything is OK. Free and unlimited Wi-Fi is a good bonus. Nicely located close to everything and just in front of the ferry to the other river's shore. I paid 30 Euro breakfast included. Would come again.

Ist ein sehr altes, aber schön eingerichtetes Hotel mit einem ganz eigenen Charme. Service war super, Frühstück war gut und für mich völlig ausreichend. Alles in allem eine nette Abwechslung.
