Good location, nice and helpful people”
3 min walk to the latest ski-bus stop - mount; 5 min walk to the Happo Bus Terminal. This is convenience as we joined a fire festival tour and returned to the bus terminal at mid-night. Staff are extremely helpful - they help connect ski rental shop for picking us and by end of our trip, we can just leave the rented skis and boots in hotel, where hotel will arrange return to rental shop. Rooms are fairly spacious with bathroom and cleaning is optional with little charge. Will live again when come back.

Lovely breakfast and onsen on roof top”
We loved the location, very close to 2 free shuttle bus stops and the Happo Bus terminal. Lovely Japanese breakfast prepared by the chef with different local specialty, they also have bread and cereal if you want the ordinary. Although our Japanese style room was small for 2adults and 2kids, the onsite onsen made up for it.

Great Breakfast & Very Helpful Staff ”
The hotel looks better than online. The breakfast was great. Freshly prepared everyday and beautifully presented. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were stranded at the train station because of the rain, so I called the hotel to see if they could pick us up. Bo problem at all, they even offered to drive us to the bus station (5 mins walk) the next day because of the rain. We stayed during the peak ski season so the price was high. Other than that we would return to stay there in Hakuba.

Value for money ”
The hotel is located at a very convenient location close to bus terminal. The hotel staff are very nice and try their best to serve us. We stayed for 4 nights and the dinner were different and delicious. We definitely will go back and stay there again.

All the staffs in this hotel are really nice and warm，you can feel it when you come into the front door from the very beginning. I like the dinner since they provide different taste on each day，and you can enjoy hot spring on the rooftop after you finish a whole day skiing for perfect relaxing，everything is in an orderly manner.

The hotel is comfortable and somewhat basic, however it feels like an authentic Japanese experience. The Onsen is wonderful after a day on the snow slopes.

Good overnighted between transit ”
Walking distance to both JR Ueno and Keisei Ueno train stations, so I always stay here when I need an overnight stop on my way from Narita airport to one of Japan’s many bullet train destinations.

We found bugs every night during our stay, however, the staff were really friendly. On our first night of arrival, we arrived pretty late and they extended the onsen operation time for us to relax.

this is a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. the staff have limited English but communicate adequately with a translation app. rooms are basic but clean and more than adequate heating. there is a small refrigerator provided too. onsen is on the 5th floor, with indoor and outdoor option. there is a locker room in the basement for ski gear. very near to ski rental shops and very near car park 6 of happo one. also not far from Lawson meals are a little pricey (extra 1500 yen for breakfast and 3800 yen for dinner) but you could choose to eat at the various restaurants nearby.

We stayed here for 4 nights! Staffs are very helpful and friendly, Room is nice and clean good size for two people! Breakfast is well prepared and we had dinner set at the hotel great value and very delicious! Great location only a few minutes walk to bus terminal, easy to go around town ! We absolutely love this place

最上階にあるとろとろの素晴らしい泉質の温泉、とりわけ露天風呂は檜の香りと周りの緑に癒されました。 みずみずしい自家製野菜や優しい味付けの美味しいお料理もたっぷりと。 ５階のお部屋からはジャンプ台が見えました。宿の皆さんはとても親切で感じのよい方々で、こちらのリクエストに即座に応えてくださいました。 雨まじりの白馬でしたが、ベルクトールさんのおかげで、とても心地よい滞在でした。
