Very friendly staff and excellent value for money. My only complaint is somewhat slow wi-fi, but that's more than compensated for with the excellent location and other mentioned positives.

I loved our stay at the Elch, and I was so pleased at it's proximity to the old section of Nurnberg. It was just far enough from the noise of the city, but close enough to walk to all shopping and sights.

Perfect location with charming yet basic amenities”
My husband and I were in Nuernburg for the Christkindlesmarkt, and the location of Hotel Elch was perfect. With alternative eateries and bars available within the neighborhood, we were also within walking distances of landmarks worth visiting. The only issue we had with our room was the mysterious leaking toilet/basin. Not sure which of those two the water was leaking from, and hope the hotel has dealt with it efficiently. Can't comment on hotel's restaurant as we were busy exploring other eateries, but there were positive reviews on their food.

Uralt, aber modern!”
Das Hotel Elch ist das älteste in N. 1342!!! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fachwerkwänden. Für uns war alles bestens. Man könnte allerdings sagen, das die Zimmer etwas klein sind und nur über Treppe erreichbar (kein Lift). Aber dies lies sich in einem Jahrhunderte alten Haus nicht ändern... Mitten an einer sehr ruhigen Strasse in der Altstadt.

Tolle Lage und originelle Zimmer”
Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Nürnberger Altstadt. Man kann also das mittelalterliche Zentrum zu Fuß erkunden. Besonders charmant ist, dass das Hotel Elch in einem traditionellen Fachwerkhaus untergebracht ist. Das ist auch der Grund warum es in dem Haus keinen Lift gibt, was bedeutete, dass wir unser Gepäck in den zweiten Stock tragen mussten. Dies haben wir aber für das authentische Ambiente gerne in Kauf genommen. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel und originell eingerichtet. Besonders gut hat mir die farbliche Gestaltung und Abstimmung gefallen. Nett fand ich auch die zum Namen passenden Plüschelche an der Wand und die elchförmigen Schlüsselanhänger. Die Rezeptionistin war freundlich. Der Service beim Frühstücksbuffet hätte besser sein können, so wurde man nicht gefragt, ob man was zu trinken möchte, sondern musste selbst danach fragen. Im Großen und Ganzen war der Aufenthalt sehr okay und wir würden bei einem neuerlichen Besuch in der Stadt wieder in diesem Hotel nächtigen.

방에 웰컴보드를 놔주셔서 웰커밍 받는 분위기가 좋습니다. 침구류와 청소상태는 완벽했고 머리맡에 콘센트가 있어서 편했어요. 위치는 역보다도 뉘른베르크성에서 더 가까워서 부모님이랑 간다면 조금 더 시내쪽에 숙소 잡을 것 같아요. 유럽 특유의 돌길을 걸어야 해서 캐리어 끌고가기에는 살짝 버겁고 엘리베이터가 없습니다. 숙소는 나무바닥인데 제가 묵은 방은 바닥이 기울어져있었어요ㅠㅠ 큰 불편은 없었지만 저는 지진이 잦은 나라에 살고있어서 괜히 좀 불안했어요.

작고 아담한 호텔”
호텔이 매우 작고 위치또한 찾기가 힘듭니다. 외관이 호텔같이 생기지 않았습니다. 내부에 엘레베이터가 없어 짐을 들고 이동하기 불편합니다. 방은 작지만 펜션스타일로 아담하고 귀여운 분위기입니다. 아침식사가 제공되고 먹을만하며 직원들이 매우 친절합니다.

服務出了問題”
雙人(朋友)入住公寓卻給一把鑰匙，到櫃台索取第二把鑰匙卻是淡淡的反應。隔天吃早餐前把一把鑰匙放在房間廚房的流理台上，吃完早餐回到房間這把卻不翼而飛，下樓跟櫃檯反應，櫃檯人員用無線對講機詢問清潔人員，卻淡淡的說沒看到這把鑰匙，還要我確認是真的沒帶在身上。直到另一位員工在櫃檯抽屜突然找到這把，到現在還不知道這個事件的問題出在哪裡，整個過程就是冷處理，要是真的沒找到這把，房客不就要負責遺失鑰匙鎖產生的費用。光想就覺得很不安。

飯店位置距離市中心主要景點都在步行20分鐘距離內，非常便利。附近商店、餐廳很多，購物或用餐機能強。只是若是搭乘火車前來紐倫堡，從火車站步行到飯店約20分鐘，雖然路途不遠，但都是石板路，若有拖行李會很不好走。因此建議搭U1到Lorenzkirche站(僅一站之距)再走過去。 飯店建築已有700多年歷史，但已全部翻修過，設備新穎齊全。有空調、保險箱、minibar，沒有電梯但飯店人員會協助幫忙搬行李。淋浴間比較小，但水壓足夠，吹風機也很好用。夜晚街區很寧靜，房間隔音也不錯。服務人員很友善，入住時還會準備小蛋糕。房間整潔舒適，清潔度佳。 非常溫馨可愛的小酒店，推薦！

The hotel was great quality and great value for money, plus it had some very quaint architectural features. The only star I knocked off for facilities is because there was no room service on Sunday evening when we arrived (I understand this was because the restaurant attached to the hotel was closed but still this was quite inconvenient). Otherwise we really enjoyed staying at this hotel.
