Amazingly friendly staff”
Around 10mins from the airport by taxi. They provide shuttle at 7euros as well. (Reasonable I think) Super friendly and helpful staff. Iron and hair dryer were given upon request. Breakfast was simple and the room was a little hot. The fan was in the room.

Ordinary hotel close to the Ferihegy Airport”
The location of this hotel is perfect for travelers having a very early morning flight because it's just in front of the Ferihegy Airport Terminal 2, on the other side of the main runway. Not that you can jump from your bed directly to the terminal because there's no path for pedestrians to get there. Also the road to the airport makes a long detour to go around the runway. You can either take the hotel shuttle or go to the main road and catch the bus if you want to save a few forints. Either way it doesn't take more than 20 minutes to be standing in line for the check-in. I booked a double room for one night so I don't know about the housekeeping. I noticed a few things during my stay. The hot water faucet was almost impossible to turn. The sliding doors in the shower were difficult to close. The remote control for the TV set didn't work although the TV itself worked fine. Also it was not really dark in the room because the curtains were not thick enough. The mattress was quite firm, sheets were clean and the size of the room was average with no closet but a couple of large wardrobes big enough for two or three people. There was a small table and a seat in front of the bed and a bed side table stood on each side of the king size bed. Toilet and bathroom were not separate. 2 sofas and a large leather chair stood at the end of the corridor on the first floor. The reception is opened 24 hours a day. Every hotel staff I met spoke relatively good English. A safety box is available at the reception but I didn't use it so I don't know if it's free of charge. The hotel provides a car rental service. Breakfast is between 7am and 10am and is included. You can enjoy a buffet where there's a variety of cereals, bread, french rolls, tea or coffee (excellent one), ham and cheese. Quality of the food is good but not outstanding.

A fairly decent hotel near the Budapest Airpo”
We have had a 1-night stay from 26 to 27/10/2014. One of the staff efficiently changed us another room (#104l) when one of the room heater cannot be switch off - we like such efficiency and flexibility. Overall, although it is not so value-for- money as compared to other airport hotels that we have stayed (near Milan Malpensa for example), our stay in Hotel Ferihegy was a nice experience.

Hotel is located close to the airport. Room was spacious and clean with fridge. The hotel staff was very friendly. There are near many restaurants and commercial center. We had early fight and we can ask for a shuttle service from hotel to the airport 6 euros at 5 am. Breakfast start at 4 pm with many types of hams, salami and breads etc.

Very reasonably priced airport hotel.”
The staff were friendly,a nice young family making a go of it. the room was huge with two double beds in it. The bedlinen was clean. The room was very basic but a real bargain so what can you expect? It was considerably better than we had expected for the price. Very handy for the airport stopover.

Close to airport”
We stayed in this hotel as we had a very early flight the next morning and we did not want to wake up too early and wait for a taxi etc. Therefore we booked this hotel at walking distance from the Airport. The hotel is basic but we had a very convenient stay. We just had a beer from the minibar and woke uip the next morning. The room is very large and it is all clean. The bathroom is large enough.

Lovely hotel and excellent service”
Very friendly and helpful staff. However, it was an unpleasant surprise to hear on arrival from the receptionist that if I wanted air-conditioning in our room extra 4 Euros had to be paid. In 37 Celsius heat I did not really have a choice, just to pay for a convenience and comfort that should be included in the price of the rooms. Would be interesting to know if this hotel also charges extra for heating during wintertime...

Pleasant Hotel”
Arrived late at night, but check-in went fine without any problems at all. Very service minded night porter. Also the young lady (Szilvia?) on duty the next morning was very helpful. And not to mention the hotel boss,very friendly and keen on helping. We rented a car at the hotel for 12 days and I would really recommend other people to take advantage of that too if needed. Upon our return 12 days later the hotel boss took us for free to the airport just because we had stayed there one night when we arrived! :-) But I think the hotel should consider changing their mattresses.I had to look under the the sheet to see if there was a mattress there at all, and not a "plank"...

Convenient for a quick airport stay”
If you need an overnight stay near the airport, this is a good option. The staff was very helpful and attentive - they all were very comfortable with English and were able to recommend a nice, small restaurant nearby for dinner and were able to shuttle us back and forth. The breakfast provided was fine, and it took about five minutes to get to the airport, give or take. The only knock I would have is that the beds are pretty hard, but we were able to sleep, and this was really hard to beat for overall convenience, price and service.

we stayed just one night for the transfer at the airport , but it was comfortable with reasonable price.This hotel is not gorgeous or luxury , but not messy. It was reasonable for the price including breakfast like ham , cheese , bread , fruits , yogurt , serial , juice , tea and coffee. Staffs are friendly.

This hotel was in a real good location, across the road to the beach, great shopping. All top resturants and cafes close by. The area felt very safe for Spain, nice wide walking or cycling paths around beach areas.

OK stay within airport proximity”
We arrived at 1am at night and therefore arrived very late with an airport taxi at the hotel. Staff was friendly and hotel was ok for the short stay of a night. Budget rooms in the "budget corridor" don't have wifi access (need to go further out to the lobby) and the room was very, very basic funiture/bed, more like hostel than hotel. At least there was a clean sink within the room.

basic hotel close to the airport”
we needed a hotel close to the airport and reserved this hotel. the hotel is basic motel style not a real 3 star as defined. rooms are quite small, only the trple rooms are reasonable. furniture is basic, tv very old. some rooms have ac but you have to pay additional charge for using it, other rooms have no ac. despite the airport proximity it is not noisy. breakfast is poor - a few products from the supermarket.

Close to airport.....only plus”
Only advantage of staying at this hotel is its close to BUD airport. Otherwise the hotel is pretty low standard. There was no AC in our room and we were sweating like crazy all night. There is even a charge for airport shuttle (6€). Don’t expect much from this hotel.
