We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grand Town. The breakfast was good. The room was clean. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. There was only one disappointment: they promised an airport shuttle, but there was no shuttle and no communication from the hotel staff indicating that there was no shuttle. Agoda should remove the shuttle option from the website.

Strategic location for shoppers & local foods”

Million thanks for the courtesy of the VERY early check-in. Room is great. Clean hotel throughout except drainage system MUST be improved at least on room 2xx (stench drain smell). It was either the drainage system issues in the neighborhood or choked drain in the shower(kindly check~ dear Mr owner). Food was great and variety with accord to star rating. Personal hygiene details may have been lacking to at least one of the F&B staff. The paper cover of my mineral water was dirty but the rest in the dining area was seem to be fine from my observation. WIFI was weak in the room but excellent in the dining and lobby area.. Room ventilation is good due to the large room with a high ceiling lighted with a chandelier. The room has a bathtub for a 3 star hotel (excellent). This hotel is strategically located in the vicinity of the Panakukang Shopping Mall. Plenty parking space for hotel guests at the large Supermarket parking lot next to this hotel. Food choices are aplenty at the restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. As mentioned earlier, this place is suited to those who plan to shop. Pantai Losari, Fort Rotterdam and Paotere Harbour are not possible to reach by foot. However, to those who wish to go on a day trip to the National Park (Bantimurung National Park), this please is a good choice as a base to call a night. You will feel like staying in a palace as it's interior design is based on it. It was best to visit places by means of motorcycle and having local friends to show you around. From my personal point of view, most of them only speak Indonesian probably due to few interaction with Westerners in this part of the Indonesian island.

Got a promo price from Agoda so the payment is quite cheap with spacious room, cool interior, and delicious and varied breakfast.. The downside is the parking and the bathroom drain that is not smooth enough. Overall it's okay and recommended

Ketika checkin saya ditanya apakah nanti breakfast atau saur (puasa), saya jawab breakfast, sore hari ada staf telp ke kamar saya menanyakan hal sama, saya jawab breakfast, namun esok pagi jam 3 ada yg telp kamar saya pas lagi nyenyak tidur, tanya lagi y sama: breakfast atau saur, saya komplain kenapa bangunin saya padahal sudah ditanyakan dua kali kemarin, akhirnya saya tidak bisa tidur, jadi saya merasa dirugikan waktu tidur saya berkurang 3 jam padahal niatannya mau istirahat tapi malah diganggu layanan yang tidak professional
