Although it wasn't a special rate during cherry blossom season, I had a very pleasant stay at a relatively affordable price. I booked a twin room for two people, but they upgraded me to a twin room that can accommodate four people. The front desk staff was kind, but they were wearing masks and explaining things quietly, so I didn't hear them well and just said I understood. Later, I realized that they were offering me a room upgrade... Better late than never, thank you ^^ The breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed it as well. I didn't get to try takoyaki and kushikatsu during my trip, but I had them for breakfast. The women's bath on the 12th floor was small but clean and nice. The location was convenient as there were good restaurants nearby, and the station was not far away. The hotel is a bit old, but I was satisfied with the price and would consider staying here again if I visit Osaka.

Good location, clean, nice onsen”
Stay there 10 nights and the room is very clean. I request to stay at the high floor and they arranged me at the 12th floor corner room, which exactly same floor as onsen area. Super easy to go inside onsen. I did twice a day. Whole body so relaxing after soap myself inside the onsen. They cleaned up the onsen daily, from 9 am to 4 pm is closed for cleansing. And from 4 pm open till 2 am! Super amazing. Morning 6 am to 9 am open again. I love this location cuz easily to approach to any key food area. It’s only 8 mins walk from umeda mrt station. Just walk out from mrt red line and find the winky direction. You will by pass many must eat in Osaka restaurants! So shiok! Anyway, I will come back again next time. Good good

Japanese Style Room good for couples or small family”
The Japanese style Room on the 2nd floor was clean and spacious. It’s good for couples or small families. You have 3 futons and a japanese table and chairs. I also like the air purifier inside of each rooms. There’s also another space near the window with a chair and table. They also provide pajamas during the stay. I recommend that you stay in a Japanese style room if you have an extra budget. :)

Nice hotel for business travelers”
I spent one night at this hotel while on a business trip in Osaka. It is a 10-15 minute walk away from Osaka station. The room is small but it had everything I needed. The hotel also has a lovely public bath, which is great after a long day. I would recommend this place for business travelers.

Nice public onsen”
There is an artificial onsen on the top floor which is quite nice for traveller to enjoy. The location is not as close to the metro but you can still get to the station within 7 mins. They have provide the amenities on the ground lobby and so you can take those before going to the room. The single room is bigger than I thought and good value for money

Perfect stay and all for a fantastic value! Only cons were WiFi was slow during evening hours and checkout is 10am vs standard 11am. Very professional and friendly staff and onsen is a BIG plus! Also open until 2am! Had room 2020 on top floor next to onsen with nice city view! Bedding all clean and supportive bed with nice bedding. Choice of two types of pillows! Nice full length mirror also a nice touch! All bathroom amenities are top notch cosmetics by Pola! Best deal in town and popular hotel with foreign visitors! ¥11,500 a night for my wife and I including tax, parking and nice buffet breakfast! Will certainly return to this hotel property when visiting Osaka next time either for business or pleasure! Great job to all at Hotel Hokke Club Osaka! This review was written by an American expat living full-time in Japan as a business owner. Needed to sleep in Osaka for 1 night because visited US Consulate General’s office (1 block away) for a passport renew the next morning!
