Great Deal for the Money! ”
The hotel is a little bit outdated as far as looks, but the amenities were nice and the staff was amazing and so accommodating. The rooms are a bit outdated too, but they do the trick for someone who is looking for a Japanese-style experience! They were clean and nice and spacious. The public bath was small but really beautiful. I absolutely loved the outdoor bath, finished with local apples! I enjoyed the hotel breakfast in the morning too. It was buffet style with Japanese and Western options, and plenty for Vegetarians. One more awesome thing is that they have a little shuttle that can take you to and from the snow monkey park!

We had a beautiful view of the mountains, a ton of space, incredible staff that are receptive to your needs. There’s even a shuttle to monkey park at 9am - just need to ask. Also one of the best onsens I’ve had on this trip! An amazing deal I wish I stayed longer than a day

Best Service Ever!”
We had such a wonderful stay in this hotel. They picked us up from the station and let us checked-in early (12:30 pm). And immediately brought us to the snow monkey park. Yamamoto San (driver) was very sweet and accommodating. The food was also fantastic. It was more than what we expected. Actually, it was way better than the ryokan we stayed in Kyoto where we spent 60,000yen/night. They have indoor and outdoor onsen which is again, very extra. The next day we were supposed to go back to the station but decided to go back to Snow Monkey Park to get more shots/videos, and Yamamoto San happily agreed to bring us back and came back to pick up again. The service of this hotel is I must say the best we have ever experienced. We will definitely be coming back.

beyond our expectation”
The hotel provided indoor and outdoor onsen. The outdoor one looked fantastic with the Momiji leaves as the view. It offered the shuttle to Monkey Park, and the driver also picked us up from there back to the hotel, then directly to the Yudanaka station. We did not expect that service, especially during this cold season. The staff even knock on our door to remind us for breakfast; even I did not order the room with a breakfast option. The staffs were amicable.

I got the offer of staying in this hotel for around 75%, and my marks on the price ISN'T based on this cost. The onsen is VERY good that it can compete with the one next to the Yudanaka station. However I might not choose this one without the price discount as it is kind of far from the major bus and railway station

Very nice hotel for stay”
The hotel is nice and comfortable. It has pleasantly equiped spa with hot springs. Each guest can find all necessary things (towels,warm westcoats, yukata, which can be changed every day on request) for spa in the room. Rooms are rather spacious, some have private toilet and bath. Breakfast is rich with plenty of choices, every morning you can find new, different dishes. Very good WiFi. Staff is super kind and attentive. Free shuttle service from/to station, Snow Monkey park is providing.

Not luxury, but authentic Japanese Onsen”
An old-fashion onsen hotel. Good: warm and welcoming staff. generous size Japanese tatami room with ensuite - total about 40 m2 Your very own private onsen where the temperature can be adjusted down by closing the valve outside the window and adding cold water. Public onsen has great outdoor area but the water temperature was so hot that even hardened locals couldn't dip for more than a minutes. Bad: off-smell when passing near the kitchen area.

Awesome Experience and must stay place”
We stayed here for 2 nights and this place gave us a very nice experience. There was a onsen inside our room which was very convenient and relaxing. There was another natural open-air onsen for males and females separately with maple trees around making it a very relaxing experience. I would recommend this hotel to others too.

Exceptional”
Despite the language barrier, the front desk staff always trying their best to help with smiling faces. Helped us booked car rental for 1 day. We had to remind 1 staff( abit blur) that was on duty, that our ride to Snow monkey park was complementary ! We were almost charged for the ride! Rooms were big, clean and comfortable Breakfast - Buffet style, serves both Japanese, as well as Western items( croissants, butter/jam, ham, fruits)- almost the same food items for our 4 nite stay..but we are not fussy eaters., so we are ok with it, breakfast ends on the dot at 9am! Enjoyed the inhouse Onsen too!

Not a very good experience”
Overall the hotel is OK, but I will not recommend this hotel to others. We and my friends (16people) have booked and live in this hotel from 19-25Jan. We didn't notice that this hotel doesn't have small rooms for single person. Some of my friend included me have booked in single room and they endup give us a big room (that can fit at least 3-4 people) for our single room booking. And when we arrived hotel, they told us there are some water maintenance stuffs on some of our rooms on 20-21Jan but they already reserved another hotel for us which is 10mins away from the hotel by car. But it's annoying to move the luggage back and forth so we just squeeze in other friends rooms. And then we end up found out those rooms are not for maintenance, and for other guests just live for 1 night. Hence, it is a simple overbuy issue and honesty problem. p.s. Hotel have refund the accommodation fee to us but we still didn't like how they act, I rather they tell us the truth instead of cheating us.

I was searching a place that has hot springs and I decided to book this hotel. I had asked them that if dinner was included by sending a message and their answer was yes, it’s included in what I paid for. However when arrived at the hotel and checked in, I was told that the dinner wasn’t included in the price and it’s additional ¥3240 each person. Why would they tell me the wrong thing? The dinner was okay, nothing really outstanding. Only the staff was so nice giving us a ride.

Convenient Place”
Driver was so nice and staff. Room are clean and nice mountain view from the window . Worth it and nice indoor and outdoor bath. I would like to come again if time permits.
