Location, Friendly Staff, Breakfast

The room itself was comfortable, but since this is a hotel in an older building the door didn't block out a lot of noise. The size of the room wasn't too bad, but it seemed to me that the bathroom was bigger than the actual room. Overall, not a bad place to stay since it's in a central location.

wont even look for anywhere else on my next visit to buderpest.loved the high ceilings and glimmers of the buidings past life.staff were just so helpfull and welcoming.sorted us out a treat when the airport suddenly closed for the day and we needed a room asap.no need to walk to the centre for bars and restaurants.all you need is on the door step of this hotel

I Love Kalvin House Hotel”

The rooms are charming and comfortable. The staff are all lovely - welcoming and always helpful.

this is the second time that i have stayed in kalvin house hotel and i have enjoyed both times. it is affordable and has all the facilities required, with extra charm and friendliness. it is also very well positioned in the hub of an interesting and quiet area of the city - but close to the centre and many major attractions as well as close to public transport.

This is a return stay---I love it.”

Judith, the desk person was amazing. She gave many people individualized attention. I heard her arranging restaurant and tours for other guests. It is in a great location. Close to all of the restaurants, the river and all of Budapest.

This was an amazing story. I stayed there last year and loved it. When I checked in this time, a flag came up on the computer and Judith went to the closet and brought out my camera and IPod that I thought that I had lost in Vienna last year. What could be better than that. I really love that place. Everything is perfect. I had to leave at 3:40AM to the airport. Judith had a sandwich and juice packed for me to take with me. I can't wait to return.

It's my second time at Kalvin. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast is good. Last time I was there I had a new room, unfortunatly this time I had an old room. The receptionist give me a voucher for the thermas. Free WiFi.

Alte Möblierung mit Charme (leider stark reparaturbedürftig), sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (mindestens Englisch sprechend), Frühstück frisch und ausreichend in der Auswahl, Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Achtung: Da sich ein Pub im Nachbarhaus befindet, wird es am Wochenende laut (Raucher vor dem Eingang, dröhnende Bässe der Musik). Hotel hat sich die 3 Sterne verdient.

gentilezza del personale, ambientazione particolare dell'hotel che si preenta come un condominio con la reception al primo piano, stanze semplici ma vivibili ( in 10 seduti a terra e sul divanetto per guardare il derby) lo rendono un ambiene senza formalismi ma curato.

Trevligt och fräscht hotell med bra läge”

Billigt, rent och fräscht, trevlig personal, ligger bra till

Ett prisvärt hotell som är mycket fräscht med rymliga men lite gammaldags rum men med modern stor platt-TV. Läget är superbt bara några hundra meter från saluhallen och med bara några minuters väg till metron, spårvagnar eller till shoppinggatan. Frukosten innehöll det vanliga som yoghurt, mjölk, flingor och mUsli samt både ost,korvar och marmelad samt lite grönt till brödet. Jag uppskattade särskilt äggen! Personalen var väldigt sympatisk och hjälpsam och såg verkligen till att inget fattades på frukostbordet. Det enda negativa under vistelsen var att trafiken utanför var lite väl högljudd på morgnarna men det tycker jag man får stå ut med.
