Comfortable Stay in the City Center ”
Everything was good except of the street the hotel is placed on. We went there when Munich held the football championship between Real and Bavaria, and all the people watched the game in bars, restaurants, and just outside. It was pretty brave to go outside that night, it was noisy and I did not feel safe. But in the morning everything was cool and relaxed. There are bars and restaurants around, the central station is just in 5-minute walk and Aldstadt is pretty close. The hotel is clean and looks new. We even did not see our neighbours during our stay.

Somewhat near central station ”
Location is ok, as it's somewhat near Munich Central Station, have to walk about 10 mins. Made more difficult as the path is not smooth, dragging luggage could be a pain. However, compared to other hotels in the area, the location and price is one of the best. Check in is at Atlas Hotel, which is no problem at all. Good wifi. Great shower water pressure. Got elevator, but it broke down during one night. Got aircon. Surrounding area is a bit shoddy, there are people smoking vapes just next to hotel entrance.

Price performance is indeed very good. With quite good breakefast to enjoy. Also nice staffs”
We were at Kavun for 8 nights and found the hotel is very much ok compared to the price. I was worried about the staffs and check-in process as mentioned by the other reviewers, but we didn't have any issue with that. Staffs are though not supportive like a good hotel, doesn't let you down if you would need something. However, we were aware about the price we paid and didn't expect something beyond that. Hence, we were happy for what we have received.

a good choice for staying in Munich”
Room is spacious and clean, but reception is crossing the road and not quite friendly. Hotel is located in a street full of mid-east people, a little bit dirty. 15-20 mins walking distance to the Munich Hof.

Budget hotel in Stuttgart”
he location isn't close to the city center, around 30min tram from it. It is alright since the tram station is ard 8min walk. Stuttgart hotel is pretty expensive and this one its price is reasonable. The reception opens a limited time, so please do inform them your expected check-in time so they will instruct you the self check-in procedure. However the passcode they provided for us didn't work, we contacted the staff through the "ring" at the door. After communicating for several times (which they seem do not understand what I am saying), the staff were unwilling to come down/show up. After 20min back and forth conversation, they provided us a new passcode to get the roomkey so we were able to get in. We got the room on the top floor, which you have to walk 1 floor stair up because the lift doesn't reach the top floor. The room is spacious with 1 double bed and 1 single bed (which I booked 1 double bed only). The room is clean and tidy. Got heater but not AC.

Great location”
Close to the main train station. Also within stumbling distance to Oktoberfest. Check-in is done across the road at the Atlas hotel. And the lift is very slow (wasn't actually working when I arrived). Rooms are small but that's expected in this part of Munich. AC and powerpoints turn off once you leave the room as only 1 key is available for each room.

Hotek Kavun a well located mid level hotel”
Close to the Hauptbahnhof and reasonably close to the Altstadt. No onsite staff: located at Hotel Atlas across the road.

Not bad”
The hotel is not bad, location is not far from main station. But you must go to check in at opposite hotel and the staff isn't friendly. Not impressed.

Pleasant stay, unsure why people complain about checking in at the hotel opposite, hardly an issue.

Average stay”
The check in check out process was quick but it was done at the reception of hotel Atlas across the road (i.e. no reception in the building). Small, but maybe it's the standard size around that area for the price. Unreliable WiFi coverage, keep disconnecting and the television only have one channel available. En-suite with electric kitchen and fridge, but surprisingly no kettle (at least) or other cooking utensils supplied (not that I plan to cook).

great location and value for money ”
I liked the location and good value for money. The hotel comes with free parking, by the time we arrived we were told the garage is already full and they were of little assistance to accommodate to our situation. Found that a bit unfriendly. But other than that it's a good stay.

A night in Munich”
Check in at the opposite hotel. Staffs aren't friendly however just a night stay with the amount i paid for the room, i won't expect much from their hospitality professionalism. Walking distance from hbf as well as tourist attractions.

My experience with Hotel Kavun”
Hotel was nice and comfortable. The floor was abit sticky as they are not using carpets. Staff was unfriendly. You get the feeling like you owe them something. Breakfast was sad for 11 Euro. Place to eat was cramp. Location is good as it is like 7 minutes walk to Munich train station.

Please book another hotel...not worth the stay”
This hotel do not have a staff when you need it. you need to cross the street to get some help. can't ask for anything when you need it like fresh towels etc..because it does not have a reception area, table..you need to get out of the building and go to hotel atlas. The room I was in, the door is DIFFICULT to open. I stay a full week and had to endure getting early, dressing up to cross the street because the break fast is serve in the other building/hotel...i will not come back to this hotel

NOT AS DESCRIBED”
We booked a luxury suite with kitchen but there was no coffee machine or microwave as per the description or even plates or cutlery!! What sort of luxury hotel room WITH kitchen doesn't come with cutlery?!? When I enquired at reception I was told this was normal and to go buy something at the corner store. Previous guests left potatoes in the kitchen drawers so assume they had pots and pans etc. Extremely dissapointed hotel would not rectify. Also the wifi drops out constantly

worst experience ”
Firstly the reception was across the road which is silly. No access card, I was instead given a key which works like an access card for the main entrance door facing a narrow alley, for the room door and to turn on power (very old fashioned). The TV had only one channel which wasn't clear. The lift lobby and the area leading to my room was a bit eerie. The male receptionists with fake British accent were not very friendly. I will never stay here again.

Not bad, the only complaint was the tv didn't work and there was only half a roll of toilet paper between the two of us

Three-star hotel with two-star everything”
Handed a key and told to find our own way to our room... across the street, behind a locked door, up four flights of stairs as the elevator was out of order and through a triple-dead-bolted door that jammed and took three minutes to open. Kept up most nights by the local drunks due to poor sound insulation and sent on a mission to locate the advertised “on-site 24hr washing service” - on a completely different street and not in any way affiliated with the hotel. Staff at the Atlas across the street treated us like a nuisance and sent us away, for simply enquiring about a service that is clearly printed in English and Deutche on their brochure. Maybe they just don’t like tourists...
