The location was great. Just opposite the Kyoto station and connected by an underground passage. The airport limousine station located just outside the lobby. We are supposed to stay in this hotel. Unfortunately we are informed that the hotel are temporarily close due to unforseen circumstances as we are on our train from Osaka. The hotel staff arrange us to stay in their sister hotel just a few blocks down the road. Kudos to the staff and Agoda for making our stay comfortable and smooth.

Very close to the JR station which make it super easy to go everywhere. And when you have big luggage, it is not too hectic to manage to the hetel. There is the department store in the first floor and other nearby which I don't use due to late night travel. But it should be good for other who may need it.

The hotel is just opposite the Kyoto Station and there are a few malls nearby. There's even a connected underground passage from Kyoto Station to the hotel. Great place to stay in!

Great location, across the street from the Shinkansen (Bullet Train), right next to 7-11 Konbini (great for cheap breakfast on the go) and mall with Don Quijote (great for survivors). Tons of restaurants by hotel and in train station. Five minute train to Fusimi Orange Gate Temple, fifteen minute train to Bamboo Forest and shopping area. Double Room was clean and spacious for two people. Bathroom/shower was nice. Very polite staff.

Overall a good place to stay. Room is not the biggest, but far from the smallest. Need to amenities from the lobby but they have basically all you need. Close to Kyoto station. It is connected to the underground shopping street but it's a pity that it is only open for certain hours. Very often when go outside in the morning / come back at night, the walkway is just not available and you still need to navigate yourself in the cold street. But overall we had a pleasant stay.

Location! you can almost go anywhere in Kyoto from this station! Hotel services and amenities are superb! English is not a problem! Accessibility to other modes of transportation is not a problem. As always, food choices and quality are super! Room quality and cleanliness are above par! Highly recommended and best hotel for you to use as a base if you plan to travel outside Kyoto as well.

Great Location and Clean Room”
Right opposite the Kyoto Station South Exit, you can either cross the road at road level, or go via the underground connection that leads to the basement of the mall next to the hotel and take the lift up. Hotel provides toiletries on a self service honesty basis during check in where you can collect from the racks by the lift. Self check in counters available for easy check in/card issue. Pyjamas provided in the room too for each guest. Rooms are really clean, and reasonably sized. A really pleasant stay due to proximity to Kyoto station, with plenty of F&B, convenience store and shopping available in the underground mall.

I booked this hotel earlier for 3 nights and later decided to book it again for my 1st night in Kyoto after cancelling the other booking. My card was charged immediately in my local currency and much lower than the rate for the 3 nights I booked earlier which was in US$. I don't understand why. As a result of Agoda converting the room charges from Yen to US$ and convert it again to my local currency , I have to pay more. Nonetheless the 1st night experience was good. As the rate for the other 3 nights was much higher, I expected to have a better room for the 3 nights. However I was so disappointed to have a smaller room which is not clean and extreme noisy over the weekend that we were not able to sleep well. We suspect it was due to the announcement over the loud speakers at the bus stations for overnight bus service. The plus points are the location and the good and helpful service by all the counter staff.

Great location”
We stayed only one night and moved to their sister property down the street for the next two nights. The location is their biggest plus as they are right across the street from Kyoto station. We had a triple room but had 4 beds. The room was so spacious. Toiletry bar was very eco friendly. The only negative was the carpet in our room. It was dirty with lots of lint or “stuff” on it. It was like nobody vacuumed the carpet after the previous guest left , or their vacuum cleaner had no suction power. The bathroom wallpaper by the vanity was a coming off and a little worn. The shower curtain was not wide enough to cover the entire tub so we had to be careful not to splash water onto the floor. Beds were firm, like all Japanese beds, but comfortable. The A/C did not cool down the room even when switching the thermostat to 62 degrees so it was a bit warm in our room. I would recommend this hotel if you want a hotel close to Kyoto station.

Very conveniently located beside Kyoto Station which makes it a good base to travel and visit Kyoto. The check-in is completely self-service and it was not fully intuitive for a foreigner as we booked 2 rooms for 2 & 3 pax. The rooms were a small for 3pax.
