Too many issues and cannot take shower!”
First of all, the hotel is near by both of JR station (come/go for Kyoto) and metro (can go to KIX Airport via transfer at Tennoji station) as well as Osaca Castle. However, the hotel has several major issues: (1) the hot water in the bath is extremely small and no one can use it for shower; (2) the washlet toilet seat has also too weak water pressure to do its job; (3) the microwave machine at 9th floor (we are staying at 10th floor, the topest one with no microwave machine which is fine) is not only very small like the other one at 8th floor but also has its bed (inside) broken and the hotel didn't replace the machine with a new one, instead, they put a dish into it and make the size even smaller; (4) when we checked in, the staff barely spoke and interact with us, she simply showed us a machine and then went back behind the front desk where she cannot see which step we were on and whether we had encountered any problem; (5) we were staying at 10th floor, the topest level, the Wi-Fi signal is good but the speed is terrible; and, (6) last but not the least, when we told the staff at the front of the desk about the first two issues above in the morning, they said that they will fix and asked when we are coming back -- we tried to give them more time so we went back at 4 PM in the afternoon but nothing changed and there was even no any note left to give us an update --the staff was just talking. We were so glad that we were only staying at this hotel for two nights. Comparing with the other hotels we stayed during this 1-month trips at Tokyo (for 3 nights), Hamamatsu (for 2 nights), and Kyoto (for 22 nights), this one is not the cheapest one (in fact, the Kyoto one is and the best) but gives us the worst experience. We cannot believe that we will see such service in Osaka and nearby the Osaka castle.

Great location and clean room”
I stayed several nights at Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi and I had a very good experience there. The location is fantastic and very close to the subway, Osaka Castle, and a nearby river. Staff was friendly. The room was very nice and clean; however, it was a small room. I didn't mind that though. I would consider staying there again if I went to Osaka.

our stay in hotel keihan tenmabashi was awesome. . .said hotel was near the train station tenmabashi which you can select all direction in shopping malls, restaurants, airport, castles, temples and all picturesque places to treasure as good memories which you have reached, feel the surroundings, seen different people, tall or low buildings from all walks of life and most japanese men and women always walk fast and aside from that all food were delicious to eat and so with the weather not so cold nor not so hot. . .nextym will try the cherry blossom month and will recommend or friends to visit japan. . .

I got a solo, non-smoking room for myself, it was on sale for 40USD. Pretty good value, considering the location (walking distance to Osaka Castle, Keihan City Mall, diretly above Tenmabashi Station, near CBD, lots of dining options, convenience stores, massage shops). I did not get the breakfast option as there are better breakfast places around the area... nearby coffee shops like Starbucks, Doutor, etc. The staff can speak some English, although you might have some difficulty with their accents esp if you're not familiar with it. The room itself was adequate: lcd tv, mini ref, blowdryer, a bathroom with a automatic bidet, hot shower and a Japanese-style bathtub. The room is about the same size as most "business hotels" in Tokyo. It's big enough for 1 traveller, but too tiny for a family. Room service does a good job cleaning up and I did not find any fault with the room. There are vending machines in most floors, even some hot meals. They have a nice-looking sushi restaurant at the basement although I wasnt able to try it. There is also a yakitori place beside it that was quite nice. This is also a good place to go around as you can directly access the MRT then go to Tennoji station which will then basically connect you anywhere in the city. Or you can take the Keihan railway directly to Kyoto. All in all, I recommend this place and will probably come back.
