Great hotel for exploring Berlin”
My partner and I found the hotel perfect for what we needed - a reasonably priced central location from which to explore Berlin. Contrary to other reviews found online we found the staff very friendly and polite throughout our stay, plus the breakfast was top quality. Our only negative was our room could have done with a fan/air con as the temperature was HOT and we were on an upper floor with a not very wide opening window... Room got a tad stuffy! Overall though very pleased with our stay.

Great value for money, basic hotel with extra's”
Located 5 min walk from Checkpoint Charlie. Rooms simple, but clean and with en-suite bathroom. Included Breakfast (Buffet) was beyond expectation. Recommended, would stay there again.

Explore Berlin afoot”
Fantastic location matching value! You can easily reach all Berlin sights by walking. Absolute cleanliness, quiet rooms and friendly staff. Good variety of breakfast meals, everything fresh and tasty. The only drawback was that none of the rental bikes had working lights so I had to rent a bike some other place. I do recommend this hotel and stay here next time myself.

Nothing special, you get what you paid for. Location was perfect, 30 minute walk to city centre and 5 minutes from check point Charlie. Cleanliness was good. Not overly accommodating for English when it came to notices around the hotel and some staff members. Breakfast was okay.

Great place to stay: location, clean”
It's located 5-10 min walk away from subway. This makes travelling to other places in Berlin very easy and convenient. The receptionists are very friendly and answer any questions we had. The rooms are clean and tidy. Their buffet breakfast is one of the best I ever had: ham and cheese, 2 types of eggs, sausage, olive platter, etc.

A good base to explore Berlin”
A 3* hotel, but a bit of a hostel feeling. All clean, comfortable beds, high quality linen. We had bunk beds, higher than usual - great on the lower level, but you need some acrobatic skills to master the upper bed. Our room had a well-equipped, little kitchenette, which is really handy. Excellent breakfast. Good location, between two underground stations (one is about 5, the other is 10 min walking). Agoda's page info was a bit miss-leading regarding the room we booked. When booked, it appeared much bigger, it was barely half the size of what was advertised. Our room was facing the street, with a building site on the other side, it was quite noisy, plus windows lacked good shading, so by late afternoon it was very hot inside. Check-in was offered as from 14.00. As our flight arrived in the morning, we went there at this time, but the room was not ready, we were asked to come back later. Not a big deal, but a bit disappointing start of the stay.

Relaxed place, friendly staff who speak English when asked. I liked the district, just a little off the main tourist centres and mostly peaceful. Real Berlin.

Good hotel and location, no air con”
The hotel was basic, but was value for money. Usually I would recommend on the basis that the hotel did what was required for the price paid. Unfortunately the room did not have air con which made the room incredibly when 30 degrees for the majority of the day. Therefore could not reccomend without this to ensure all weather conditions are considered. I have stayed in similar priced hotels with practically identical facilities, however all have had air con in the past.

Friendly and helpful staff. Obliged us with early check in and assisted us with printing of tour documents. Nice and clean hotel in a good location, with nice breakfast. Highly recommended. But would not book through Agoda again as the currency exchange rate is highly unreasonable, especially compared to the initial publicized indicative rate

Nice and clean place to stay for a night”
The room was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom was Ok. We have no complaints. However, they say that they have a parking lot. It is not quite true, as they have a parking cards which allow you to park on the street near the hotel

Spend the money and stay somewhere better”
All in all, not impressed by this hotel. First of all, they have a pretty late check in time and it made for my arrival to be way too early. The plus side for that is they have luggage storage.... but it’s literally putting your bags in their cleaning closet so not the most ideal or secure. Then the staff, the one who checked me in was abrasive and didn’t make me feel welcome. The one who I checked out with seemed too distracted to even be bothered. Then the room. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Honestly, you can spend the same amount elsewhere and get air conditioning so just do it. I didn’t know about this and figured it wouldn’t be too bad, but I was sweating constantly yuck. The location is fine, close to checkpoint Charlie and some food and things but it’s still a bit away from the tourist parts of Berlin. Perhaps my least favorite part was the cleanliness. My partner took a shower and hung up his towel and that’s when we saw it- one side was completely covered in what looked like a ton of snot (at the best) and something else quite upsetting at the worst. Disgusting. Upsetting. Awful. There also wasn’t an opportunity for me to put a “do not disturb” sign on the door which I do because I prefer not to have maid service during my stay so that was a little bit uncomfortable for me. Giving it some positives: breakfast is okay and included, the WiFi did alright, and the bathroom was clean. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else.

A very basic room - beds, shower, tv, no fridge. Hotel uses 3 floors of a 5 storey building, with rooms on the top two floors - so be aware that the lift doesn't go all the way up, so might have to deal with a flight of stairs or two. Breakfast was good, typical continental array. Location isn't bad, but you do have to walk about 10 minutes to get to any shops/restaurants etc.

Not the fanciest hotel, of course, but it does not need to be. I was a little confused by the other businesses in the building, but the lobby, rooms, staff, and breakfast were perfect for my needs. Plus it never hurts to have an elevator for luggage or to be in a good location.

Basic clean room, comfortable and neat. Within walking distance (for a good walker) to most popular attractions. Very good breakfast buffet. Street parking nearby with hotel permit for €10 per day.

We had booked triple room but it was a small room where in the extra bed was accommodated to make it triple room. Overall good hotel for 1 or 2 days stay.

Was the nicer area as we found out on the Saturday going into the rougher areas. Was nice all-around, duvet had odd dirt marks on it but you could see they all had it so probably how they are stored.
