Best among four in our 30-day trip in Japan”
My wife and I had this 1-month trip in Japan last October and November. We stayed at Tokyo (for 3 nights), Hamamatsu (for 2 nights), Kyoto (for 22 nights) and Osaka (for 2 nights). Literally speaking this hotel is the best one among them and we are so happy to choose this hotel for the longest stay here in Japan. It has a huge lounge so we can feel very comfortable to spending some of our time in the morning to work for a while before heading out for hiking, sight seeing, and shopping. The lounge has hot water supplies and also has a microwave so we can do simple grocery shopping and make us simple meals from time to time. Even we stay at the top floor, the Internet connection is stable and in very good speed. The room is larger than any of the other three hotels we stayed, even when its room spec described on the booking page is exactly same to the other three. The fridge is working, in enough size (again, compared to fridges in the other three hotels we stayed), and operating silently -- we hadn't realized this is a plus until we met a loud and noisy one at next hotel we stayed in Osaka. Near by the hotel, you can find several grocery stores like LIFE, Matsumoto, etc.. Oh, by the way, this hotel is very close to Shijo-Omiya intersection, so not only we can almost walk to any point of interests, but also we can choose to take buses or subway when we want. In any way, we strongly recommend without hesitation this hotel to any of you planning to visit Osaka.

I really loved the bedding at this hotel. Pillow and Futon was super fluffy, had really amazing night's sleep especially after walking in Kyoto all day. The location was quite convenient too: close to the train station as well as several bus stops that take you to all the nearby shrines and iconic spots of Kyoto. I booked 4 days 3 nights here, but wished I stayed longer as there are just too many places to see in Kyoto. There's also supermarket and convenience store on the way back to the hotel, so it was easy to source Japanese food, drinks, yogurt, etc on my way back to the hotel. I forgot to bring my adaptor, but the hotel was nice enough to lend me one during my stay.

I booked this with the cheapest room 2 months before. When we arrived, the staff asked me if it’s ok if my room is small to fit the wheelchair. We ask how big and she presented a list of rooms with pictures and sizes. She asked us if we would like to upgrade. The price is reasonable so we took it. Very friendly staffs and near train stations and convenience stores. Room is clean too. Will definitely be back!

Location Location Location ”
It was a privilege to stay in this hotel for my Kyoto trip. The Japanese/Western room has wonderful layout which is most impressive of all. For the price we paid for, this is really value for money. The hotel is easily accessible from Osaka via the Hankyu Line. From the hotel, we can just cross the road to take the Ranten to Arashiyama directly. It is so convenient for us as we head out to Tenzan no yu using the Ranten too. There are many buses which offers convenient travelling to many tourist spots too. We were very grateful to the counter staff who advised us which bus to take to the okazaki stop so that we could go to our go to Yamamotomenzou and Okazaki restaurants without a hitch! We have decided that if we are visiting Kyoto again, M Plus is our top choice ( if the Japanese/ Western room is available)!

Luxurious feeling with reasonable price”
Very good value for money. The staff for very welcoming. Only thing was, there is no breakfast served, but there are good cafes near by so tvat wasn't a too much of a trouble. I loved this hotel, and when I go back to Kyoto, I will book this hotel again.

Convenient location, there is a drug store and several convenience stores within 3mins walk. Located right next to the subway/JR station so it's good for daytime travelling as well. The best hotel on my Japan trip. Highly recommend

Wonderful experience in M hotel. One of the the biggest surprises I had was that only the staffs were helpful, but also they could speak fluent in English. Moreover, they provided us with water and room cleaning services on daily basic which maintained the high quality of the hotel.

Not a fancy place, but has everything you will need. Very clean. Refrigerator in room and downstairs is a shared dining room with coffee machine and microwave. Staff is very nice. Metro stop just at the corner.

I stayed here in August 2022 with my family (4members). The staff at the hotel are very caring and helpful. The facilities and cleanliness is top notch. Bus and train station is a couple of hundred meters away from the hotel. The interior of the hotel room is quite well done. Overall a great experience.

Will Stay Again!”
When I came, the staff greeted me and tried their best to help me. However, I was kind of surprised that she continued to show me a paper in all Japanese when there was English on the back! Haha So maybe she thought I understood everything. 😊 The room was clean except for the bathroom curtain. There were some visible stains, but everything else was great. The room itself was quite large and very modern style. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk away from the station, which is also near a supermarket, McDonald’s, a couple conbini’s and a Lotteria. There is a large place to be able to hangout and just chill with people you came with or new people that is quite inviting as well. Would definitely come back to this quiet area again!
