Easily the best location. Just opposite the main train station. Fast food is nearby. And just below the hotel, there's a stairway leading to the basement whereby there's loads of shopping and food! There's a cafe right opposite the hotel where I really liked the hot cocoa for winter days!

The location (50 m from Kyoto train station) was terrific. The food and shopping mall adjoining the train station provided excellent eating choices. Best of all, the hotel staff were very profession and the rooms were modern. The cleanliness was unmatchable and the room furnishings were superb. A real gem.
