The hotel is nice and staff are helpful. The only minus is that my family traveled there on New Year's day and so the price was exceptionally high for the smaller than normal rooms. Moreover, all the nice restaurants within and nearby the hotel were closed.

Love this Hotel. More than what I expected”
When I first started looking for hotels in Osaka (3pax in 1room), I was pretty dismayed at the prices I saw. For this hotel, I was supposed to pay USD 250, but I was able to use some points and a discount given by my credit card, so the final price I paid is USD235. I don’t know about the prices in your country, but in our country, USD 250 plus just a little more can already get me a room at 5 star hotels, and this was only a 3.5 star hotel according to Agoda. I prepared myself for a “just okay”, mediocre hotel. After 6 nights of stay, my view has definitely changed for the better! Let’s be realistic– of course I didn’t magically step into a luxury hotel. But I find that the value you get for the money you pay is great!!! Now, I really love this hotel and would book and go back to it for any future travels to Osaka (unless I find a better deal elsewhere of course). Location – LOVE LOVE LOVE. It’s right at the heart of Umeda. When you come out of the back entrance, the whole street is lined with restaurants. You are surrounded by shopping malls, shopping streets, shopping arcades… Of course with shopping comes food – food “museums”, food “floors” in malls, food streets, food arcades. And of course, the train/metro/subway, is also right there – just a 5-10 minute walk. You are on the edge of one of the major rail hubs called the “Umeda/Osaka Station”. It’s not the NEAREST hotel to the station, but given the ones right at the very heart of the station are more expensive, the location of this hotel is A-OKAY!! Arrival – the “ANNEX” is different from the MAIN Hotel New Hankyu. The main hotel is nicer, nearer to the hotel, of course more expensive. But for me, it doesn’t make much of a difference location-wise. The annex is still fabulous. Another thing to love - the Airport Limousine Bus drops you off at the Hotel New Hankyu Main! Very good location, only 2 minutes walk from Umeda Station. Large beds (queen size) and very comfortable with all amenities in room. Many choices of breakfast. You can have breakfast in Hotel New Hankyu Annex (Cafe Claire) or Hotel New Hankyu Osaka (Rainbow Restaurant and Olympia Restaurant).

Location and staffs is the key”
This hotel is a few blocks away from the main hotel where the Umeda station is few steps away and the terminal for airport shuttle bus is outside the lobby and the Osaka station is just a bridge away. Some places of interests is walking distance like the Umeda sky building and since all the terminal for all the train stations are nearby then all the other places of interests is very convenient. The staffs of this (annex) hotel is vey accomodating, friendly and very helpful. Our room is for 3 people, the place where the beds are a bit narrow but the bathroom and extra dressing/lavatory space is a plus and dresser is spacious. The cleaners are spotless and always refills the water bottles, teas, personal effects for bathing etc. There is a resto downstairs and can also eat at the main hotel's resto. Even we go back late at night its still safe to walk along the alley leading to the hotel. Although the main hotel is better in terms of location and the number of restos, annex still okay

The room is clean, comfortable, good view from the room and most importantly comfortable. The hotel service is super good. We requested the room to be free of smoking smell as we are unable to book non smoking room and surprisingly during check in, they have helped us to changed from smoking room to non-smoking room. The hotel location is super good as it is near Umeda Station and 15mins walk to Osaka Station. It is accessible to many attractions like Namba, Universal Studio Japan, Tenjinbashi shopping street,Dontonbori and Osaka Castle etc. Fear not to be hungry or thirsty as there is many restaurants to choose from and vending machine for drink. There is also few shopping mall around Umeda and Osaka station for shopping. All I can say this is way too awesome. I definitely will book this hotel for my future travel to Osaka. You will love it after you stay.

There is a Hotel New Hankyu that is literally at the train terminal . The Annex version is only a few minutes more walk and less in cost. The buffet breakfast at about $9 is fine and good value. The free wifi worked perfectly ( as opposed to the numberous free wifi locations in Japan). There are a number of restaurants in the building outside and joined to the hotel. Many more food options across the street and on the way to the train station . I do not think it worth it to opt for the pricier Hotel Hankyu International, as your walk is then double to the train station. Proximity to the train/ subway hub makes it easier to use Osak as a base to visit Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima, Kobe, Himeji and Osaka.

The annex is in a good location. However, the main Hankyu hotel is in an even better location (next to airport limo bus stop, between umeda and Osaka train stations, middle of many restaurants and shops). We will stay there next time.

6 nights stay at Hotel New Hankyu Annex”
We spend six nights stay in Hotel New Hankyu Annex Stylish Double Non Smoking with Breakfast room. The location is fantastic, few minute walk link to train, subway, shopping malls and eating house. If you concern room size, choose for Stylish Double , is sufficient for couple with 1big lagguage bag and 1 trolley bag . Breakfast is excellent we have 3 restaurant to choose from, which included buffet style breakfast. We have facing wifi connection issue at our room, but staff is helpful enough to provide us wifi router to solve the issue. The room is clean and staff is helpful. Overall is a good staying experience, and value for money for the fee we paid.

Budget hotel at great location ”
Hotel is located at one of the most convenient location in Osaka by walking distance to Osaka station and used to commute to other cities by JR pass. The hotel is a budget and small hotel but clean and comfortable for short stay and at the best location. The area is so convenient and safe and surrounded by restaurants and malls at the back of hotel. It would be great if we can find a room at the New Hankyu. We booked for a double & non smoking room and we got what we booked for.

The location of This hotel is good. This hotel close the Metro-subway and Osaka Station/Umeda Station. You can walk from subway to the hotel (around 3 min). Beside this hotel close Limousine-bus station. You can transit for Kansi-Airport to this station (near this hotel) , That very easy way to come to Osaka city. Moreover back-side of this hotel is restaurants. Many restaurants are located around this hotel, You can pick some food to your room. This hotel service ice , and it free for you every time. (I love it) But the cons of closing the Osaka station is loud sound of the Train . You can hear the sound of the train even though you close the windows. The staffs can speak Eng , They have a good service and good advise. Moreover you can leave the luggage at the hotel ( close 9 pm). and this hotel open to check in 24 hr.
