Cheap hotel with fair service quality”

Fair price for fair service quality. This hotel is well located, close to subway and bus stops. Rooms are clean and fair housekeeped. Nothing wrong to say about hotel and offer on Agoda. Everything as described. One what need to mark - breakfasts after couple of days became boring and you need treat them only as a starter for real meal.

Busy F1 GP weekend”

A very basic hotel, but you get what you pay for! Rooms are basic but comfortable and cleaned daily. Large bathroom and lockable wardrobes. Breakfast is very limited and does become a little dull after 4 days .... The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly and all speak extremely good English. We enjoyed 4 days at the Hungaroring F1 with the help of the reception staff assisting in finding the best method of transport and journey. Then two days exploring the city - Budapest is a beautiful city and well worth a visit but you need to travel to the mid/north of the city to reach the 'cosmopolitan' areas and places that you would want to see.

I chose Platanus because it was relatively cheap and walking distance to the train station. A little old, but otherwise I had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is old-fashioned, but well located and for a great price, when you count it for a person per night. What we missed was functional wifi in the room. We had to go to the lobby for accessing the wifi. Personel was OK, so was the breakfast. Easy, no big choice, but enough for a night or two.

the hotel is just average, near metro station and bus station, rooms are clean. There are some things I didn't like: room was on the ground flour not secured enough, traffic noise is heard beacuse of a big avenue outside, wifi was not available in the rooms and was not working for 2 days at the hotel lobby. Breakfast was not so good, just a cheese and marmelade and coffee or tee, which was not Cceptable for a 3 star hotel. Room price was very good, so that was considerable as a value needed, just a cheap stay

Average quaity but OK for the price.”

Location is inconvenient to most places in Budapest. We stayed because we arrived late by bus at Népliget. Lots of walking to nearest public transport.

I did enjoy my stay but I wish they had wifi in the rooms instead of just in the lobby.

Check in was easy and staff friendly. Hotel room was poor air conditioning didn't work, t.v didn't work and when I reported this to reception There reply was "we do not have a technician available today" fortunately I was only there for 1 night. I would not return there or recommend to anyone.

Near to the downtown”

The hotel is near to the downtown. Staff were helpful. The room was clean and enough for sleeping. Breakfast was good.

pas Platanus!”

Arrivées en taxi depuis l'aéroport(très facile!), en fin de journée,nous avons eu la surprise de devoir changer d'hôtel -pour cause de problème de cuisine. Nous avons donc été dirigées - à pied-vers le"TULIP INN" à un peu près 5 mn du métro Nepriget mais de l'autre côté soit un peu + de 10mn avec les valises. Mais comme nous n'avons pas les 2 pieds dans le même sabot... Nous avons tenu à visiter le PLATANUS puisque nous y revenons en avril avec un groupe. Ce qui nous a paru agréable : des espaces un peu confortables pour se retrouver(pas au Tulip Inn) une salle à manger accueuillante et des chambres très correctes(salle de bains et WC séparés). La proximité des moyens de communication nous est apparu comme un atout et nous espérons qu'au printemps les abords de l'hôtel seront un peu plus gais. Le personnel au TULIP INN était très agréable et les petits déjeuners complets.

Stanza grande, pulita e ad un prezzo accessibile. Per il prezzo pagato ci può stare, ovviamente non mi aspettavo un 5stelle ma definirlo un 3 stelle è eccessivo. grossa comodità aver a due passi sia una fermata del tram che la metro. Lo consiglio per chi bada all'essenziale e vuole spendere poco.

Geen vluchtroutekaartje op de deur. Niets in de minibar. Badkamer toe aan een opknapbeurt. Geen plancet aanwezig om jetoiletartikelen op te kunnen zetten. Ontbijtbuffet is ronduit slecht! Soepkom voor de koffie(automaat) Plasticbekers voor de sap(automaat) Geen fruit, geen gekookte of scrumbled egss, geen jam of ander zoet. Geen blad om je bordjes en kopjes op te dragen. Messen zo bot dat ze de broodbolletjes alleen maar stuk maken. In de kamer weinig stopcontacten voor opladers of electrische tandenborstel. Geen Handleding voor de tv. Het is een non smoke hotel. Dat houdt in dat er mensen, soms erg dronken, buiten op de binnenplaats gaan staan roken en veel lawaai maken. De hele nacht en vroege ochtend door!! Meerdere malen de receptie gebeld omdat ik niet kon slapen. Uitermate irritant.
