Location is good if you have business in Kendal. If not try Semarang hotels that seem to offer much better Value for Money. It is about 40 min to 1 hour to the airport although the distance is under 30 km. About a 10 min walk towards Semarang to Alun Alun (Kendal Square) that has some night life and street food. Indomaret and Alfamart is also located about 10 min from hotel. Toilets smell, stench seem to emanate from the outlet pipe. The exhaust fans in the toilets of most rooms don't work and so the stench becomes unbearable. Only one bottle of water provided free. Restaurant is good and reasonably priced. Breakfast is ok. Ask for room to be changed and staff obliges, Had to change the room twice once. Large car park, lift direct to rooms from car park. Nice lounge / bar area. Relaxing atmosphere but music is much too loud. ATM machines located at the lobby. The staff is wonderful. That makes makes up for all of the shortcomings if any. Yes, I will stay there again.

In Kendal it is the only place to stay for western style comfort. Other places are much cheaper but you pay for what you get. Buffet breakfast was okay.

The Best Hotel in Kendal Regency”
The room is quite pricey for local standard but Sae Inn offers better services. Located in the main Pantura Road, this hotel is very near with the local government offices. Ask for rooms in the back of the hotel as rooms in front part are not adequately sound-proofed and the sound of heavy vehicles will guarantee a sleepless night.

It was pretty bad hotel was under construction expect early wake up. Also staff came at various hours for no reason. I got food poisoning from the food in which I started eating out. The hotel room shakes feels like an earthquake not sure why it does this maybe poor construction. Room halfway cleaned as well.

This hotel is at a very heavy traffic junction. The traffic noise is unbearable, especially at night. I had 2 sleepless night. I got beaten by mosquitos in the room. Regret booking this hotel

Food poisoning ”
I got sick food poisoning. Not from hotel. They went way beyond the call. Security took me to hospital stayed with me at ER and brought me back. They were awesome.. very nice and friendly people. I would recommend them on just that alone. 10 stars service

Our 3rd visit here and as always, good and helpful staff. Nice room, clean and comfy. A bit of a problem with shower, the water is too weak. However, since we arrived late in the evening, we're too tired to complain. So we just let it go, hoped it would be better in the morning. Not the case this time. Nevertheless, recommended hotel for your stay around Kendal or Weleri.
