I stayed here with family, when the health protocol was still strict, the hotel is close to the city center, the facilities and cleanliness are good, but the breakfast offered in my opinion is less varied as well also the taste.

Good location and service, poor wifi”
Located not far from the beach and near restaurants. It’s a chain hotel so has a good standard of quality. Didn’t try the breakfast since I prefer to taste local cuisines. But the wifi is poor, and really depends on the room location. So if you need a fast internet, this is not the hotel for you.

Our first journey to 'wonderful' Makassar city”
This is our first visit to Makassar, myself, my husband and both children (daughter & son) has no idea about the city designation point. On Des 26 we arrived in Makassar and check in to Santika Hotel at night with hungry stomach 😋. Our first impression of the hotel is clean, well facilities and warm welcoming...than we found that hotel location is near with tourist favorite location such as Losari beach, Fort Roterdam, Lae Lae & mie Tie tie restaurant and souvenirs stores... we have 4 wonderful days of holiday in Makassar, and thanks to H. Santika for being part of our journey in Makassar.... 😄😙😋

Lovely hotel with good service”
i always like the santika. you know what you are going to get with the santika chain hotels. the one in makassar has very fast, straight to the point check in. the rooms are simple, not too big but has very comfortable bed and pillow. breakfast is always delicious with lot of local food variation and changes everyday. the location is also nearby losari, where you can get good food and entertainment.

Overall i enjoy my visit in Hotel Santika Makassar, the staff is extremely helpful and located in prime area of the city. As added value, there is convenient store located in walking distance from the hotel. There are some point that can be improved by the management. Firstly, the bathroom in my room is stained in some spot. Surely this is not an issue but clean bathroom has always been a crucial point during my visit. Secondly, the elevator is quite small. Even with 3 regular build guys + luggage, it's a struggle to get out without bump others. Overall, it's a good hotel and one of the best you can get in Makassar.

Good hotel, good bed, good breakfast”
Nice modern room, with a very good bed. There is a TV with international/english spoken stations like BBC, CNN. The breakfast has a good choice, there is some special local food. Coto Makassar is very tasty. Look for special price offers, they are really good value. This plce is nicer then the Kenari tower hotel, with a rundown bathrooms, no english TV stations.

We really just used the hotel as a transit hotel - we arrived in Makassar in the late evening and departed early the next morning. . Check in/out formalities were easy and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breafast buffet does not offer many western breakfast options but it does offer the opportunity to sample a huge variety of typical Asian breakfast foods and traditional Sulawesi dishes. Everything I tried - including the coffee - was delicious! The hotel seems well located for business, shopping as well as sightseeing with the Rotterdam Fort and port area within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Plain rooms but great breakfast”
It was the first time we stayed at Santika Makassar. The lobby is nothing special, rather small. The front desk was just okay. The lady who served me could not read the situation that I just wanted to go to my room as soon as possible. She kept explaining about the hotel's facilities. The room was rather plain with standard furnitures, nothing fancy but clean. So we stopped expecting something great from the hotel. The breakfast however, surprisingly great. The coto makassar, a local delicacy, was delicious. The hotel provided excellent Indonesian foods. I cannot say the same for the western foods though.

Hotel Santika is clean and comfortable hotel. The staff are also very warm and friendly. The location easy for find food and near the shopping center, business center, bank and other. Good Stay, Good location”
Pretty good and easy access from any part of the city. Good and clean bed sheet as well as good air cons. Location wise is easy to reach and go. Well it is a hotel. What they missed was pick up service at the airport prior to arrival. I had been looked around and non from Santika around, until I got into the Taxi counter. After we arrived at hotel, one of hotel staff was asking my name and mentioned that her staff was already at the airport. But since I did not seen anyone from Santika, then I did not want to wait for another long, then take regular taxi (which is cheaper than hotel pick up services - unless it was free). But over all is ok.

Easy Comforts”
Staying at Santika Makassar is pleasant because of the spacious room, clean bed and towel which was comforting. They also serving complete breakfast menu. Unfortunately when I checked in, the concierge had their hands full due to group check in before me, and made me wait for about 20 mins.

Good quality hotel in Makassar”
First time to stay at the Santika Hotel chain, quite a big group in Indonesia, almost had hotels in every major city. The hotel is newly refurnished, minimalist design, smells new, smoke-free rooms. The staff was friendly and responsive. Breakfast in the hotel consist of the traditional foods of several part of Sulawesi. They made a great dessert cakes (traditional cakes) The hotel was located near the city centre, easy to reach by taxi.

As expected except for its breakfast”
Santika has always been my first choice when it comes to business trip in a city I am not familiar. I can count on their hospitality, good room lighting and especially - their fabulous breakfast. Not this one. Something is definitely missing. I am not sure what. The food is just okay. I can see some traditional food - it's Santika trademark but they don't look appealing. Not much vegetable. The music is a bit too loud. The ambience is like a melati hotel. Location is great though. Close to the beach but it's more quiet. It's perfect for runner, I can run to nearby track or around the hotel. Taxi is available all the time. Convenient store nearby. I might stay again in this hotel because of location (for run and for my morning coffee) but I am more than happy to skip their breakfast.

Comfortable Stay”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. We stayed in Santika before continuing our journey to Raja Ampat. We were happy by the attentiveness of hotel staff similar to the warm reception we received in Santika Bandung. Keep up the good work to the staff of Santika Group of hotels.
