Great value, great location, new and clean”
I really like the concept of an eco friendly hotel. Our stay was wonderful from the start of on site check in at the counter. Staffs are fluent in English and check in was efficient. Rooms are decently sized considering it's Japan. It is clean and new. Bed was comfy, comforter was warm, heater and AC were working well with no loud noises. Two bottles of water and two green tea bags are provided everyday. I like the concept of taking the amenities (on the first floor) if you need them. Pajamas was also provided. I would like to suggest a separate amenity for toothpaste only. The toothbrush comes with a small tube of toothpaste set, so by the second day, I ran out of toothpaste and had to pick up another set of toothbrush. I feel it's more eco friendly to have the toothbrush and toothpaste separately as I stayed for 4 nights. No breakfast is provided in the hotel but I prefer venturing out in the mornings to try different food everyday, so it's not an issue for me. No bathtub, but showers are more eco-friendly! Highly recommend this hotel as it is located just 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station. Donki is located nearby, as well as Aeon mall (10 minutes) where you can find a big supermarket with cheap fruits, veggies and cooked food. Zara, muji, uniqlo are all in the mall. Kyoto station itself is full of stores and eateries. Two convenient stores just right in front of the hotel. Location wise is superb. Staff were so helpful with directions and any problems. I am traveling with a child and this hotel is safe! If Osaka also have Hotel M, I would definitely stay. Good value Hotel! Highly recommend!

The location is perfect as it is just walking distance to Kyoto Station. there are also several bus stops near by. the hotel is very modern, clean and spacious. It offers nice facilities, with big reception area that is very accommodating and instagrammable. No restaurant in the hotel but there is a near by convenience store. definitely recommending this place to my family and friends.

So close to kyoto station! Prime location”
It is so close to Kyoto station. Probably a five minute walk from the station to the hotel. There is also a convenient store right across the street from the hotel Scioto tower can be accessed within 10 minutes by just walking around Kyoto station. Avanti department store is also super close and you will be able to find anything you need. The rooms are super clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. The lobby is nice modern and clean. They have an amenities cart in the lobby where you can grab anything you need like toothbrushes, razors, shower caps body scrub Q-tips and more. It definitely it was worth it.

Great place to stay”
I stayed in two hotels from this group, Hotel M, and both are great stay. The location is great, very close to Kyoto station. Staff are polite and all very nice. The room is very clean ,well heated, and the bathroom is quite spacious compared to all other hotel bathrooms in Japan. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely choose this hotel group again if I come back.

We only stayed for a night but it was such a great experience! The staff were very friendly and were able to communicate in fluent english. The room was spacious and clean! Location was also just a 5 mins walk to Kyoto station and it has a convenience store right opposite. The hotel also has a laundry room and a big lobby for you to hang out or pack your luggage.

Stayed from Dec 30 '22 to Jan '23. Only a few minutes walk to Kyoto station. The staff were all polite, friendly and sincere. The room for 3 (3 beds) was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would surely stay there again.

I loved my stay at Hotel The M's Kyoto. To me, the best feature is that it is very close to Kyoto station, so that if you are arriving from Narita late evening, it is convenient. The staff are friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Had a great stay! Room is very clean and comfy, including bathroom. There is a small ref and safety box in the room. The lounge is a great place to eat meals and hang out. It’s very near the Kyoto Station, and there are convenience stores nearby, A bus stop is nearby, too. Highly recommended!

Though the room is not very spacious, it is one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed. The mattress is good, the quilt is good. The water pressure is strong enough too. And the staff at front desk are good at English and very nice as well. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Clean and Nice ”
Its was very clean and the workers were very nice. Their customer service was excellent and they offered two free waters per room. I was very impressed with their coin laundry system since they had a very new and advanced washing machine that was also a dryer in one. There was a lock which prevented other people from touching your clothes and included a laundry soap so you didn’t have to purchase it on your own. I do wish that it dried a little bit more since my clothes came out half drenched.

Close to Kyoto station, good staff with surprisingly good English. The room is clean and the bathroom is the cleanest I ever seen. I even rebook this hotel when I back to Osaka with other terrible hotel. This hotel is underrated if the shin Osaka mystay hotel can got 7.

It is 10 mins walk from the station. The room is very clean and has fluffy comfy super warm blanket. Room size is small though. Really worth it!

It is about 10 min walk to Kyoto station. Convenience stores like 7 Eleven and Lawson (closest) are nearby. Hotel room is rather small but cozy and clean. Feel free to replenish amenities at the trolley at check in counter.
