The hotel just located at tanukikoji street. Very easy accessible. There are alot of shop downstair of the hotel. Very friendly & helpful front desk staff. Overall, very good experience. I would love to come back again.

I think, everything about this hotel is perfect! Odori just behind your hotel, you can go to Susukino or Odori Station easily, and very comfortable room. GOOD JOB!! I do recommend this hotel through my instagram, and I think, my friend will spend few nights at this hotel =)

Definitely a pleasant stay!”
We are very pleased with our stay. The location is superb, located at section 5 of Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade. Very near to the streetcar, in case you want to go to Mt Moiwa. Must go to the genghis khan named スカン 羊飼いの店 『いただきます。』within walking distance from the hotel. We dined there for 4 times! The genghi khans at Sapporo Beer Garden is overrated and not nice at all.

Small room”
I stayed in 3 different hotels in this recent trip to Hokkaido. The size of the room I booked with Hotel Vista Odori Sapporo was same as the room I booked with another hotel, which is 15m². However, the room design itself caused less space in the room compare to the other one. I couldn't walk if I fully opened my baggage. The choices of food for breakfast very little. Not worth for what I had paid. Lastly, the location is very near to subway station - susukino station. After exist from susukino station, just walk towards Pole Town underground walking path, exist at 4,5,6 chome. It link to tanukikoji shopping street and the hotel located at 5 chome, just right on the shopping street.

Right at the centre”
First, it can be reached from subway or Sapporo all the way underground. No snow or rain will slow down your pace. Second, it is just < 1 min like a portal to the famous walking street, Tanukikoji. Access to anything you want is just as easy. The room is not really big but decent, fit enough for a couple. Better get a twin room to have 2 beds stick together to form a big one. One special thing is though self service laundry cannot be provided in the hotel, it can be done in just 5 min walk in another hostel nearby, the capsule inn in specific. This is convenient for a long stay.

Location is just right in tanukikoji shopping street! So convenient and is walking distance to the train station. Room is spacious and clean! Staffs are warm and friendly! Thank you for the hospitality and is a wonderful stay for my mum and I! I will definitely return to this hotel again on my next trip to Sapporo!

Pleasant and comfortable with nice decoration and clean facilities. Nothing special about the room, but it was everything we needed. The location is in the Tanuki Koji shopping arcade, so there's easy access to stores, restaurants, bars, and clubs. It's near the nightlife district of Susukino and close to Odori Park, so there are plenty of entertainment options.

Price worthy! Very good location with back entrance access to the Tamekikouji Shopping Area (狸小路商店街 たぬきこうじしょうてんがい) directly and within 5 mins’ walking distance to the Nijo Market (二条市場). Room is spacious for twin beds room, compared to others in Sapporo.

Good to enjoy susukino street”
I think this hotel is the best for enjoying susukino street that one of the most popular spot in sapporo. Little bit small...but it's ok if you stay at night! Anyway You should visit to spring near the Soen station, if you have not enought time to go to Nobori...something.

stayed at this hotel with heavy snow fall so the distance from the train station really matters. from susukino subway station ( pole mall) exit, you will walk 3 mins including the waiting time for stop lights. the rapid train to Chitose airport is located in Sapporo Station which is two stops from the susukino station. we went to Otaru during our stay which train is located in Sapporo station as well. So everytime we go to places we still need to ride from susukino to sapporo to transfer train. at the back of the hotel, a shopping center is located. a bus stop is located 1 min walk from the back gate but advisory is given for cancellation of trip because of snow. for the room, it is relatively small but clean and complete. the front desk staff is very accomodating with our baggage concerns.

Hotel is located right at the Tanuki-cho shopping street = big plus! It is a big advantage as you can shop whenever the crowd is not too high. Bathroom is separated from stall, making you have better privacy. I have bit of problem with toilet's bidet though, but it is considered minor. Bed is fine and rooms are cleaned. We booked smoking room as my husband smoke, thinking it couldn't smell that bad for non-smoker like me, but it was quite stuffy I got some allergic symptom. Luckily, hotel provide air-freshener (mist) and as it was during Winter, we kept our windows opened to take out smell, which works well during all 4 nights of our stay. Two pillows provided for each bed. Usually, they clean our rooms pretty nicely, except the last night where one of the beds somehow made us have some allergic reaction (red rashes/itching).Washing basin is separated from bathroom, which is strange, but after awhile found to be more comfy.Amenities were good! Staffs were helpful.

Hotel is very clean as it is still new. Really worth the price you paid. Location is superb, it is in the centre of susukino shopping street. Many restaurants, convenience stores around the hotel. You can catch the airport bus just around the corner from this hotel

Emergency during the earthquake ”
Due to the typhoon influence, I have to stay in Sapporo and booked Vista once I arrived in Sapporo in the midnight. The efficacy of staff is high for managing the check in procedure. In the midnight, earthquake happened and we were scaring, electricity was off with an emergency light was on suddenly. After around 10 minutes, a hotel staff come up to us to ease our worries that we could still stay in the room. He was sweating as he go up to each level by stairs until he came to the highest level and reached our room. We were appreciated so much on the responsibility of hotel staff.
