The room is clean, comfortable, and roomy with good amenities to include free breakfast, drink, and sake. The free bike rental and smart phone are a plus. The Japanese-style breakfast is very delicious and guests miss it so much. The hotel also offers free coffee and awamori. The WiFi is good. Overall, guests highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again.

Hotel itself gives an impression that it hasn't been updated for some time now. However hotel staff are very friendly speak both English and Japanese to cater for local and foreign tourists alike. I was given a clear guide about the hotel's policies, amenities and also a useful information about the local area. Hotel Rasso also offers complimentary drinks to all their guests (certain times), free bike hire for those wishing to explore the ishigaki island. Whilst the hotel room itself wasn't exceptional, it was clean, neat tidy and contained all the necessary amenities. My only complain about this Hotel would be a rather bad smell that comes out from the bathroom. I wish hotel management would take a note and make a required maintenance of the pipe system to allow guests to enjoy relaxing evening baths. Bonus: There are bath salts available for free to all guests at the hotel which was a nice touch! Recommended.

Good Hotel, cheap but good service, near to downtown”
It is a very good hotel. The price is cheap, but the service is very good. The restaurant provides free and unlimited drink, even awamori (the local traditional alcohol). The building is a little old, but everything within the rooms is fine. The location of the hotel is also good, only ~5-10 minutes walk to downtown, or you can choose to borrow their bikes freely. The staffs here are quite nice and friendly.

Extremely good value for money”
I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights with my boyfriend for an off-season visit to Ishigaki in March. It's a little unclear on the website, but breakfast was included with our room. I was really impressed with the breakfast: Yaeyama noodles that you could assemble yourself with tons of different noodle, broth and topping options. They also had free drinks available (coffee, tea, juices) in the lobby at all hours, and even had free awamori in the evenings. There's a good-sized awamori shop just down the street as well. The hotel is very close (within 5-10 minutes walk) of the main downtown area, including restaurants and the bus terminal and port. There's a Family Mart just across the street. I really loved this hotel and will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in Ishigaki.

Great stay for a great price! Room was roomy, facilities were great, free breakfast, coffee and even awamori! Only complaint is that the hotel appeared to be completely unsigned which would have been an issue if not for Google Maps.

I will come back again! The service is great and the stuff is really nice. The room is good, and they have free drink located in the lobby. Free bike rental. However, the only down side is the wifi is really weak. (Maybe for me only coz I stayed in the last room) overall, it's a good hotel!

Good: great price . Big bed 1.5m wide. Breakfast buffet ¥800 tasty( but almost same everyday) . Diff shampoo n free face wash n lotion.( no more Mask when I ask them Idk why) . Family mart only 1 min away . Free bike rental . Walking machine ¥200 per load , dryer ¥100 @20 min Staff are nice n free drink all day Have a small kids area that's a big plus Dis : the sofa take up most of the space , toilet smell bad especially at night , far from pier , all restaurants nearly by open 11am Dark in the room . Staff don't speak English , give out wrong info . So far if I have tide budget it's a good hotel for it.

I like the free drink bar so much! Also, the font desk staff was very good. I have told them my window was broken, and she immediately fixed it out with very polite manner! I felt very warm with that! The hotel location was also good, just 10 min walk to the ferry terminals. Although the breakfast had very few choice, it was very delicious and traditional!!! Highly recommended when you travel in Ishigaki.

The location is really good. Very close to the bus terminal, ferry pier or the Euglena market. Family Mart just around the corner. Nice and quiet at night time. Staff are so friendly. They provide traditional Ishigaki style breakfast which is noodles + Pork + Tufu + mushroom.... My husband is not very used to it but i am fine :) I think the value for money is good ! the room is very small but very clean and with all the basic items provided. We ended up changing to a bigger room after the first night. IT WAS A LOT BETTER! big enough with some space to move around :) Overall it is a good choice for anyone traveling with budget!

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, except the male receptionist. Not listening customer's need patiently and not helpful on asking details about local tour, just saying it is impossible for foreigners to book a tour during Japan Golden Week. Turn out we have to and able to manage by ourselves. Lighting in the room is not enough. Bottled water is not provided. Design of the room is a bit old fashioned. Ants are found in the room. Overall is acceptable but believe there are better choices out there at this price range.

Self cooking noodles and toppings for breakfast is tasty but same choices for our 4 days. Free bicycle rental. Free coffee and lemon juice 24 hours and free 4 types of local wine until 11 pm. Receptionists know simple English and has a Taiwanese receptionist speaking Mandarin.
