It's one of the well-known hotels in Jeddah, you cant go wrong with the location and the view. I just noticed the cleanliness of the room and the facilities has decreased since last time I visited in 2015. Nevertheless, it's still one of the best hotels in Jeddah, highly recommended.

Absolutely first class. Everything anyone could wish for and more. Staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The spa facilities were terrific and the food was outstanding. Would definitely book this hotel again.

The Al Azhar Hotel was booked as a 4 star hotel, however it is only a 3 star. The quality, however, was closer to a 2 star. true to the title, i was able to book this reservation with agoda at a good price. the location was in a good area..restaurants within walking distance.. near to tourist attractions and near the beach too.. except for a couple of not so friendly/and accommodating receptionists the stay in the hotel was good

I stayed in the hotel for one night. It is awesome. It has excellent services, and great location. I had a small problem with the hotel. The staff member in the recieption in mistake booked me in another person package. However, my booking through agoda was already there. Overall, I really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

No laundry service, room is small, the toilet is not functioning well, the breakfast is not acceptable. (they even charge me $10 for a cup of regular black coffee) This will my last time to stay for sure.
