"Pros: Incredible view, nice bathroom, very clean, great location but a little difficult to find the entrance at first (need to take two elevators to your room) Cons: For such a new hotel, I was shocked that they didn’t have better soundproof equipment. The hotel is right over a busy train station, and you could clearly hear the trains, even on the highest floors. The room is smaller than pictured. Also very little space when trying to get through the main door of the room, good luck with large luggage!"

"we drove to the hotle, and there was an extra fee of yen per night for parking...very reasonible! the room we stayed in was the largest japanese hotel room we've ever been in...but the floors were very dirty. it also seemed to be a smoking room. i was never asked whether i wanted smoking or non....but i never requested my preference either. the area is beutiful, and chinatown in very close by. we spent our days at universal studios which was about a 40 minute drive east of the hotel. the expressways to osaka are faily fast and traffic was better than expected...but as in tokyo, getting on the correct entrance/exit is a hassel and missing one spells long delays. our actual time spent at the hotel was minimal, but was almost extended our stay by one night due to our first impression of the hotel. it was simply stunning, and the price we paid via agoda made us feel like we were out of our element (which was pretty cool). i think the typical clientel at this hotel pays much higher price. my children at 7 (boy) and 3 (girl). both of them we happy and comfortable with out accomidations. we never got a chance to use the pool, but we did walk through and check it out. it looked fabulous, but a bit small. if we'd have spent an extra night, we surely would have used it. the gift shop had some really nice treats (sweets), and the prices were reasonable."

"Traveled with two friends; we each had our own room. Good location, maybe 10-12mins walk from the main Sannomiya Station, tucked away down a lazy street. Took us a while to find it, but only because it was raining and we had suitcases. Rooms were clean and neat. Standard business size rooms; bathroom was functional. Great water pressure; constant. Rooms serviced daily. Short stroll to lots of visiting spots - Kobe port, Chinatown, museums, main shopping streets.. Very helpful staff; we arrived way before check in time yet they stored our suitcases so we can start exploring the city. We walked everywhere while there, as it was so convenient a spot. There are two convenient stores a stone throw’s away, the Lamp Museum two minutes walk away, some lovely cafes/eateries a short walk from the hotel. Overall, wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend, and I’ll book in again when I’m back in Kobe! "
