"We are a senior couple (70yrs & 80yrs) we found the location of the hotel, 15 minutes walk from Inari Station (2 stations south of Kyoto Central) very convenient..Beautiful INARI TEMPLE oppisite station.. Easy to go to all places of interst from Kyoto Central... Use Information Centre at Central Station for all your enquiries..They are very helpful and speak English well. Close by to the hotel there are many restaurant & Bars and 7/11 Stores plus Family Mart right opposite. Noodle Bar close by is great The room was sparkling clean. Lovely white bedding and white bath towels. Everything you need in a bathroom plus hairdrier and those amazing push button control western toilet Electric kettle and green tea in room. LAN for lap-top fast and working well... We had a semi-double room..... so be warned.. We are not big people and had one small suitcase and an overnight bag and found it a little cramped but we were there only at night and did not mind... I'm sure the larger rooms are perfect. Staff friendly and some speak English I highly recomment this hotel..We stayed for 7 nights."

"Loved the convenience of hotel's location to Yamashina Station and city subway, and with a variety of restaurants and short train ride from Kyoto Station. Breakfast Buffet was very good, but found it a little expensive, Would have loved the option for dinner, but area seemed to have a fairly good selection of restaurants. Overall, rooms were very clean with comfortable beds, but bathrooms were a little small. Would highly recommend booking this hotel to others, as we would definitely return should there be another opportunity to visit! Be sure to try the local sushi restaurant around the corner called Sushi Inaseya, approx, 300 m. walk. "

"As a group of three, we booked the upstairs room to ourselves. Most of the time we were alone which meant we had the whole house, but even when people were downstairs we couldn't really hear them. There are good facilities for cooking etc and the location is good - you can walk to Fushimi Inari and it's two short trains to Kyoto Station, one train to Gion. The owner is very nice and helpful and we didn't have any problems during our stay. The beds are a little hard (futons on wood) and there was some confusion in the check in instructions (which told us to go to the wrong room) but all in all it was a great stay!"
