"There are alot of 3-4 Star Hotels in Namba but for me APA Hotel Namba-Eki Higashi is the best. It is located just a few hundred meters away from the train station. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area and the food they offer are amazing. The breakfast food they offer for free is also great. The facilities are great and the staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel rate is also very affordable. This is only my first time stay here (I stayed in other hotel nearby before) but because of the great experience, I will surely be coming back."

"We were a group of eight people with two teenagers, and booked a total of four rooms. I suppose the size of the rooms in Japanese hotels have been widely commented on, but I did get the impression that they were smaller compared to other 4-star hotels elsewhere in the world. We appreciated the free hi-speed wi-fi internet connection. We also appreciated the speed of check-in, and check-out. We checked in at about 2300, and were quite tired from the flight. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The location was a major plus for this hotel. There was a supermarket in the basement; and the train, subway, and bus station was just beside the hotel. There were a lot of restaurants within a five-minute walk from the hotel; as well as 24-hour convenience stores. You could exchange currency at the Post Office bank located at the ground floor of the train station building, and you're just a 10-minute walk away from the major tourist area of Dotonbori. The staff was prompt, courteous, and attentive. However, the english fluency of the staff was not quite at par with other hotels that cater to international guests. The rooms were quiet enough, and the beds were comfortable; I slept well throughout my stay. The cable tv choices, however, left a lot to desire. There was only one english channel available (BBC). There were also no available english language newspapers. I wouldn't know if the hotel was good value for money. The dates we chose to visit Osaka happened to be in the middle of important local festivals, and holidays; and we found out the city had a lot of visitors, and few available hotel accomodations during our stay. Therefore, hotel prices on the dates we chose were expensive citywide. If we delayed our trip by two weeks, I was made to understand that we would have gotten much cheaper room rates. The lesson, I suppose, is check the calendars of the places you visit prior to booking transportation and accomodation."

"The primary reason I picked this hotel is that its location was perfect (for me) for a short stay in Osaka - quite near to at least 2 major train stations, and also a short distance away from Dotombori and Shinsaibashi-suji - and the price point per night was just within my budget. I was able to check-in at the hotel at the afternoon and have enough time to see Dotomburi for hours, for that matter, and walk back to my hotel in around 10 minutes after splurging on food. I was able to structure my Osaka itinerary better. Facility-wise, it is what you pay for. Bed was great, aircon was manageable, bathroom was fine, amenities was OK. The room I booked was a bit cramped compared to others I've scouted, but perfectly manageable for a solo traveler. I only had one backpack and one 79/29 wheeled luggage. Had no troubles unpacking/lounging/sleeping in the room. The staff was great - helpful and nice to travelers. It's also relatively newly-built, so no complaints about the room quality."

"The location was perfect, right in the center Of downtown Osaka. Namba station which is the connector to Kyoto, Nara and other nearby areas, is just a short walk to the hotel. Dotonburi and all main attractions nearby. Food was excellent around the area. Too much options! Shopping was superb, designer bags, second hand swiss watches complete with papers, clothes, shoes, etc. Heaven for shoppers and food trippers. Room was decent and clean. What you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Bathroom toilet of course the best as it is always in Japan. Concierge was best for keeping our luggage the whole day when we checked out and shopped. Excellent two night stay. Will definitely always stay here if I go back to Osaka."
